So nowdays real newbies are FORCED to find ways (usualy using real money to buy items from the cash shop to sell ingame for ingame cash to buy pets and items for the pets).

Now about the skill tree , its only basic because this video plays a basic character , but at level 10 you get another job with new skill tree then 3Rd and 4Th job , each addint a new skilltree.

Im a veteran player in runescape , the main issue in the game is PETS , and in order to have any real fun in the game you MUST have a very high level pet with expensive uber gear or most people wont invite you to teams and you and your pet will most probably die alone in dungeons , its a problem made by the developers that bent to the wisshes of the OLD players and all their "newbie" alts with UBER pets running dungeons and asked the developers to make the dungeons harder .

I played this game until i got to level 98. Here's a word of advice. If you like generic, click here and kill the enemy style of gameplay, do not waste your time with this one. It's just extremely boring. The first 60 levels are sort of fun. After that there is an extreme emphasis on dungeon parties, which is the ONLY way to get levels (even if it is slow).

Compare the RappelZ "Attack", "Pickup", and "Sit" icons to Lineage II "Attack", "Pickup", and "Sit" icons. . .literally identical. Same shade of blue. Same little icon graphic. How unoriginal. I remember playing this game and it being extremely poorly made. The pet system isn't even fun, and I'm obsessed with capturing games.

Don't waste your time/bandwidth. Nuff' Said.

Rappelz is quite good imo but there's a few problems with it...

1) DP = boring. Needs more variety and challenge.

2) New updates are usually the same: new pet, new dungeon.

3) New updates also come with more ways to upgrade equips/pets which makes you spend more money in CS (spend real money in the game.)

4) Not noob friendly. Well people can be nice to noobs but alot of high lvl players with low lvl alts want high lvl pets for their dp's which means that new people without them can't join. =/

This game is full of douches and immature idiots. More so than other MMOs! I couldn't level up the very first character I made because most of the good newb areas were full of people's alts with strong pets farming. Whenever I tried to kill something they would specifically target my enemy so I wouldn't get xp or drops... All the while the chat was being spammed with people shouting back and forth "I can type more wpm than you" "You're probably short and fat in real life" etc etc.....

The only problem I have with the community is how alot of high lvl players with alts want high lvl pets in their dp's.

Never had a guy with high lvl pet kill my mobs... When there's someone doing that they usually say: Oh sorry. And move to another spot.

It's just hard to lvl as a new player without decent pet cuz most dp's want high lvl pets.
