i personally feel that we, the people (world wide) should all rise up (the intellectuals anyhow) and over throw the govt. we fear and wk for them. it used to be the other way around. we put THEM in power but they workedfor US! some how, we got lazy, they got greedy and bumbarded us with food, nik-nacs, tv,ect and now we are worms, cowards, ignorant.. and they like that. ignorance is bliss
I dont think anyone trust the gov. I can't say I do....also its very interesting how the federal bank was initialized at the begining. Also the Gov. by law can lend out more than it acutually has, which is called the reserve ratio........ so there isn't actually enough money!! I Think we should go back to bartering... but just with gold and silver... and maybe goats and sheep....
taxes are just an excuse for congress to take more money and put it right into there pocket, we pay a huge property tax here in new york, they say we need that money to fix the roads, and do good things for the public but, you shoud see my street, potholes, cracks, and bumps, we all complained to our city and they said "we don't have funding to fix your street" WHAT! i pay my taxes (for the last time) and get nothing out of it,I WILL NEVER PAY TAXES AGAIN! AND EVERYONE SHOULD DO THE SAME!
these people complain and complain and act like they know what is going on but really, they know shit, and if they did know, and believed what they knew, they should be rioting and pitching a fit but noooooooo they just complain and complain........... i believe a rapper our lady gaga could start a revolution
The fbi.... keeping the goevernment honest!!!!!?? bullshit. the fbi is full of political corruptness, and they are incompitent in many ways, and they have many ghosts in the closet caused by violating your rights. put the fbi in the garbage with the rest of the corrupt idiots
Experts to make MAJOR "CEO" decisions about Banks, Car Companies/Development, Investments, The Environment, Health Care, Warfare, Education, Business Mgt? They act like they have a PHD within every Sector in the world. So smart they don't even need to read a bill before signing it because they just know.
Not even saying they are bad people, but how can you trust anyone in that position? People spend a lifetime to become "kind of good" in one of those areas!
I think your country was founded on the notion that Government is to be watched, not trusted. So a more interesting question should be what you can do to have government better watched.
The government controls the police force (guys with guns), the National Guard (guys with bigger guns), and the army (guys with huge guns, tanks, artillery, missiles, bombers, cruisers, destroyers, submarines, fighters, etc.).
If they were really out to get you, don't you think you'd already have been gotten? If they've not shot you dead yet, it's pretty safe to trust them with a few other responsibilities, especially OPTIONAL ones such as a public health care plan...
The governments having these things depends on tax revenue and soldiers willing to shoot their own. If they act unrestrained they destroy revenue and turn the whole population against them. We have too many guns for this to be an option. The military, under Clinton, has already conducted polls to see if soldiers would turn on their own and it was a failure for them.
Bush instigated the whole mess in the first place. Initiate a program where every American can own their own home, and thus reduce reliance on the government for public housing . Low Doc loans with ridiculously low re-payments. Package up the mortgages as Collaterilised Debt Obligations and sell them off to foreign entities. Housing market over-heats, jack -up interest rates and the shit hits the fan. Everyone defaults, housing prices plummet and global debt instruments of no intrinsic value.
banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. they have raised up a monied aristocracy that has set the government at defiance. The power of money should be taken away from the banks and restored to the people to whom it properly belongs." Thomas Jefferson
By this means [printing money] government may secretly and unobserved, confiscate the wealth of the people, and not one man in a million will detect the theft. John Maynard Keynes 1883-1946 British economist
With the exception only of the period of the gold standard, all governments of history have used their exclusive power to issue paper to defraud and plunder the people. Friedrich Von Hayek
Dickens wrote: "Credit is a system whereby a person who can't pay gets another person who can't pay to guarantee that he can pay.
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them. Thomas Jefferson
The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the larger centers has owned the government of the U.S. ever since the days of Andrew Jackson. History depicts Andrew Jackson as the last truly honorable and incorruptible American president.
If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs." Thomas Jefferson, Letter to Treasury Secretary Albert Gallatin (1802)
How can you just blame the government when the banks loaned money to people who make 60,000.00 a year knowing they cant buy a 700,000,00 home. Lets spread the blame if you cant afford it don't buy it !!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish there were a thumbs-sideways button for this comment. You are partially right in that the public should be educated to live sustainably however it is entirely the governments fault because they are controlled by the fed which regulates banking, currency, and interest & one call from the elite lets the banks loan money to peeps who they already know can never pay via income tax 69,000 page irs code. next step is commercial realty, no jobs, depression, martial law, antichrist, mark of beast.
I see What you are saying but come on man if you have 5.00 will you go buy a 10.00 stake or settle with what you have The government does not regulate that. I own a business they rip me a new one every year they think i am the riches man in the world.I am not backing them up just saying the people knew they could not afford it the banks new now we THE TAX PAYER!! have to bail every one out. But yet we blame it on one thing COME ON!!!
The plutocracy has sodomized the middle class for too many years now. The new plan is going to increase the money supply and loosen up credit so people and businesses will start barrowing again. In other words they are replacing the rotten carrot on a stick with a new one. But this time the donkey is exhausted, past middle age, deep in dept, and possibly unemployed. The people know they have been burned by trusting the American government.
Everybody needs to seriously watch THE OBAMA DECEPTION by Alex Jones. Until you understand what's really happening and the plan behind all of this, you'll still be confused about it. Can we trust our gov? Hell no. Obama's administration doesn't even pay their own taxes! The private bank aka the "federal" reserve needs to be audited, STAT. We need to then abolish the fed and stop giving a private bank outside of the rule of US law the power to issue and determine the value of our currency!
(part 2) Quoted from Adrian Rogers in 1984:And when half of the people get the idea they dont have to work because the other halfs going to take care of them, and when the other half get the idea it does no good to work because somebodys going to get what I work for. That, dear friend, is about the end of any nation.
(part 1) Quote from Adrian Rogers in 1984: Friend, you cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. And what one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cant give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody.
trust em' or not, they are the ones in charge, and there's no amount of voting that will EVER stop it. This is due to the same people we're voting against are in charge of the "Voting system". The only thing that will stop it is another civil-war .
Not only should we not trust the government, we should snuff them all quietly in the dead of night in there own homes and leave no marks on the bodies and no evidence. Just like nature intended. All one needs is organistation and a good grasp of initiative.
Snuffing the replacements could pose a greater challenge. So the entire goverment needs to be wiped out in one night.
That's the only way right now. We are too far down the wrong road at this point to be squemish about homocide.
Yeah, "just vote", that way OUR vote will put the "right people" in office. BULLSHIT...why do people think their votes change anything? It doesn't! We are finished as a nation. We have given all of our control to a totalitarianism government and very, very soon we will see some serious "changes"! "Change, you'll be FORCED to believe in".
9/11 was secret job by some Jews Engineer who worked in pentagon disable the pilot mode, enabled the Auto pilot mode and control the Plane by high frequency Antenna from a secret room in pentagon.
proofs:
1. Most Jews worked Twine Tower took sick leave in 9/11.
2. Osama got in secret 359 million from Israeli secret service and 257 million USD from US Govt. in Soviet Union period.
3. 'Bin Laden has not been formally charged in connection to 9/11 by FBI'
people is the root of all evil,is not about money is about women, the hunter gatherer forgot that there's more people on the face of the planet and they want all the money, fame, power and women,I will be lying if I said I don't like power and women but I like to share and spread the legs I mean the wealth, there's no honest man on the face of the planet, even priests do bad things so I don't trust my own shadow.
US already show they can be more violent against muslims than Germany in WWII against Jews by killing muslim in Iraq, palastain, Afganistan etc.
European and the rest of the world do not like US for their stupid action in Abbu Garib, Guentemalo, palastain prison etc. Just visit other counties and tell you are American then you will see how hateful speech you heard about US action. US media is bias, controlled and Jews Owned, See countries TV like BBC, Alzagira to see real fact
The framework for American, capitalist democracy -- created by founding fathers -- worked great when certain social contracts were observed by mostly moral people and businesses. We lost our heart, our morals and greed trumped all else. Raging socialism is now like a drug for desparate ppl --LETS GET HIGH SAYS OBAMA, LIKE A DRUG DEALR -- but in the long run, it is going to kill what's left of our great country. Thanks Bush!
Why don't you find some people who know what they're talking about? No one should trust the government, that is why transparency is so vital. Transparency is exactly what Obama has promised and is delivering on. Secrecy is what the Bush administration brought to new records. God, find some people who can distinguish between "government" and policy. *SHEESH*
The Obama administration will be just as bad, if not worse than the Bush administration. Obama is the new frontman to push the new world order agenda. The endgame is a one-world government with a global currency. You have to follow the money trail all the way up to the top. Our leaders are globalists. They have just trained us into this democrat/republican mindset. Real freedom comes from the bill of rights and our constitution--we now live under an oligarchy and are marching towards fascism.
The Obama administration is not perfect, but it is a VAST improvement to the secret government run by Bush and Cheney. The wealthy class would love nothing better than one world government achieved by undermining the global economy. Where there are political boundaries there need to be economic boundaries as well.
our government isnt learning. they are just copy the past and it hasnt worked yet. hell no i dont trust most government officials. only a couple good ones left. and the way things are going they are a dying breed. dont forget about the stock market look at its past every time we take a big hit too. thats the first too go. peace. gregg
That is because the real power structure of this country is above the president and his crooked wall street, lobbyist-filled administration. Bilderberg Group, Trilateral Commission, the CFR -- that's where the policy is set. Rich globalists and their international banker friends, most of them freemasons and members of secret elite groups. Both parties in the US are a joke--privately owned, no less. It's all intentional to keep the people distracted from who really pulls the strings.
you know nothing about Marx's things said! If you would just read "The Capital" (his philosophical work), you would be able to see, what is going on in this world!
Knowledge is power! Freedom is understanding the necessity!
Should listen to Peter Schiff, and among few more good economist. Like Jim Rogers who move to Singpore, did desire to stay in the US, Sold all US Stock and move it to China and other parts of Asia. Look, Obama or any other Polician, can not resolve this economic problem, we all are in it too deep...Like 53 trillion dollar debt, which can never be paid back, we IOU to China, 8 trillion dollar. WAKE UP people!...They are liening to all of us!
I think it all started with the housing market. Sky rocketing prices. Everyone refi-ing, buying everything in sight. Showed a false boom.
OPEC saw all the false money moving around and super jumped crude in price to $147 a barrel from $40 something. Witch in turn screwed any business that worked on "bid work". Prices on materiel doubled sometimes tripled which led to layoff's everywhere. How do we fix this? Well we need to go back in time (not literally) but reevaluate property back to...
real value. Thats where they are gunna find ALL bad stuff they trying to buy back. Something tells me it will only cost half the amount they put up to fix this problem. Fuckin bankers getting paid for their mistakes. Most people get fired for causing the loss of a few thousand dollars for their companies. And they get bonuses for loosing BILLIONS. Go figure.
i agree with the guy saying 'we should go back to the old days'. those who actually do important things like grow/rear the food for us are earning the least when the people who sit behind a desk and ask everyone to do his job earns the most. thats really screwed up.
Its not the governments job to fix the economy....its the peoples job....I didn't take you for a socialist resident....its all good tho cause ur a chick
I don't trust the government but I don't trust the private sector either. So if I have to choose between the government or the private sector I choose the less evil, in this case the government.
Greed drives the private sector at least with government we do elect some of the officials.
The profit incentive drives the private sector....so you do choose the leaders of the market by voting with your hard earned dollars...don't be so anti-entruepenurial....the free market always wins
I think you misinterpreted what I was trying to say I am against any sort of bailout. I think we should naturally let the free market run its coarse and if it is meant to recover it will do so guided under the profit incentive....any kind of intervention just disrupts the process
I just realized that's a Russian site. Вы русский?
I don't trust gov't, I don't trust banks, I don't trust corporations. Whats scary is that we have made this huge web of interconnections that bring down the whole world with one single failure. We need to go back to local economies.
wow, you're becoming Ms Moscow :) Almost as good as Ms. Barrier Reef!
Should we trust the government? Probably not, but at least (in theory anyway) the government is accountable to We The People. Can we trust the corporations? The banks get bail-out money and then they won't even account for it. Companies ship jobs offshore whenever they can save a buck. I don't know who I can trust anymore. Maybe only THE RESIDENT :)
Term limits for Senators and Congressman needs to be explored. Some of these people have seemingly lifetime appointments...voted in year after year because of name. longest tenures..Senator Byrd..voted in 1959. Congressman Dingell...since 1955.
Senators serve 6 years..I say 3 terms..18 years max. Congressmen serve 2 years..9 terms..18 years max. Enough to work with two or more POTUS'. Enough time to enact laws and affect change....lessens cronyism with each other and lobbyists (doubt it).
anyone who trusts the government probably doesn't know what they do or have done to screw the people over and over..what can we do to change this?...nothing, voting doesnt do anything but change the puppet but keeps the same strings
I think the american public needs to have faith in their current administration, not "the government" A recession is certainly not a new concept and it's bound to happen but there needs to be more awareness as to how and where the "stimulus" money is spend and the public should always be critical of any mismanagement. The main problem imo is that people aren't in a position to know in detail how the money is spent.
I think what Watergate showed us is that we should do the opposite of blindly trusting the government.
The opposite of blind trust is not cynical paranoia because paranoid cynics don't trust -anybody- and that's just as much of a failure to -distinguish- honest from dishonest as naivete is.
The right answer is to be WELL-INFORMED. And the only way to be well-informed, after you've watched TheResident's latest video, is to read a GOOD newspaper.
I have something to add to the last comment. How did this financial crisis happen? I heard from Fareed Zakaria on CNN that Americans (including the dumb immigrants) spent much more than they had earned: living on credit cards. So didn't we invent this stupid crisis? And we are back again to blame the government. (Hey don't give thumbs down alright! Just reply!)
I tend to agree with that, the people are as much responsible for the crisis and it's kind of silly for people to say "the governement should work out a plan to prevent companies in the future from being able to screw us over after giving us the means to have more goods than we can afford."
This is coming from Americans. I'm originally from India (800 million poor people who live under $2 a day; but I'm urban :p). It is also the second most corrupt country in Asia. What the hell should I do...or those people back there do?
Who invented money by the way? Didn't we all start in the jungles of Africa with no money?
lol this is funny ... america has lied about MANY things ... the american governemnt is corrupt .. rich bastards .. don't give a shit about anything but themselves
they (indirectly) murder women, children and innocent civilians .. the list goes on .. tthey even fucking ordered to a children's shelter .. man im happy to see some smart people (in this video) but the reality is most americans believe lies
all this money is just payoffs to Nancy Pelosi's "pet projects" and payback to all the Obama-zombies that put him into office. Where is the national outrage? Oh I forget. The gov't owns the media, too.
That's true. That's why they are all calling for it. Bush Sr. even called for it, under the banner of the United Nations. Democratic and Republican candidates are all on the SAME team, it's just one big fake wrestling match in front of the cameras for the American sheeple. It really disgusts me what's happened to this country and so many people are too stupid and ignorant to see the real truth because they haven't educated themselves on core issues.
As far as the Government is concerned they are a business, they have money they they have to handle to keep them selves going...I do believe that the Government has forgotten that they were created by the people for the People, to keep and help their citizens safe from oppression and bigotry. Now they have so many secrets that they say they cant reveal to the TAX payers because we cant handle it, but we have to pay for it...someone needs to remind them who pays for all the Gov. Wages.
Refusing to get on board with the ni4d. means that YOU trust the government.
ps. as soon as you figure out our trade deficit is the root cause of our economy problems, I might be impressed. so far I'm not! :P The simple, and yet very effective solution, is fair trade.
Because americans refuse to have national initiative in order for them to make important decisions. Americans only trust politicians, and will only vote for politicians, and never do the americans want to have a venue to actual hold politicians accountable, and uphold the constitution.bill of rights.
It doesnt really matter if you trust the gov't with your money or not; its too late for that. Not hoping for their stimulus plan work is fucking retarded.
We're evolving, people are getting smarter and smarter. The government doesn't need to be affraid of the farmers anymore, today they are more and more required to listen to people because of the actual benefits this will get for 'us all'.
We are moving into an era of ethics, in which politics will serve mankind, instead of leading it on personal insights alone.
I think most of the people in the government are working hard on our behalf. Now, having said that I think they are overwhelmed and trying to do their best.
The people spoke loudly in the last election and need to keep on speaking.
But if you have only cow to eat, perhaps one day you will want to trade one for a sheep and offer yourself a change ... All is a question of the value you put on things you want.
american people are the best, but the govenment is not trustworthy..obviously it represents all those who voted in its favour but the decisions that it makes after getting empovered are manipulated by the Free masons(Skull & Bones). Who have their own motives which are always concealed. The president is just a show piece to please the citizens.
What about Lincoln's "government of the people, by the people, for the people." This ideal could be achieved if average Americans took responsibility for their government. It would take individual effort in the form of civic action at the grassroots level.
The United States was formed on the notion of a distrust for government. That's why your founding fathers created the three branches - the executive, the legislative, and the judicial to share power and to limit each others excesses. Unfortunately in the Bush years you had a Republican president, a Republican Congress and Republican appointees dominating the Supreme Court. Things got lopsided and went into the ditch.
I think the guy who said we can trust the government when they are investigating corporate fraud hit the nail on the head. The only time government acts for our own interest is when it is protecting our interest from other unruly citizens. Any other time I wonder what motives it might have.
too bad you're such a big jerk that you have to go lie to others. there where actually people who died in the WTC why would you blame jews for it instead of the murderes?
Nice try bitch, but don't put words in my mouth. I never said anything about Jews. Have you watched the conspiracy movies? Do you know real history? Did you know Hitler's Nazi party was financed by British, American ,and German bankers???? I suggest you start with "confessions of an economic hitman".
ummmm can you say hyper inflation....get rid of the federal reserve....why should tax payers pay for ppl's mistake it is bad enough tax payers have to pay for welfare ppl now we pay big banks for fucking are shit up wtf mate
Didn't you hear psp785, we live in a global economy where technology like satellites and the internet and apps like YouTube make it possible for people around the world to communicate with one another. I'm using some of this technology right now!
The system works only so long as an ever-enlarging pool of new borrowers can be brought in at the bottom to create the money to pay the interest owed by the older borrowers on top.
No new borrowers means no new money, and since more money is owed than actually exists, the system has to come down.
This is a case where we're going to be looking at cash in and cash out" - the shorthand definition of a Ponzi scheme.
$5.5 trillion / 300 million Americans ~= $18,333 per American.
Which is more than the whole yearly wage of a 40-hour-5-day-a-week employee on minimum wage, living in Washington D.C. (which has the highest minimum wage of any State).
Yet bankers can still enjoy up to a $500,000 yearly "bonus" - now being implicitly paid for out of taxpayers' money - as "reward" for them totally fucking up the world's economy.
One senses that governments do not seem to share the same priorities as their people.
In a free economy, the bankers don't get bonuses paid by taxpayers. They go bankrupt and a judge divides up and liquidates their assets! Same with the Auto Ind. We are all socialists now!
If it were genuinely "socialist", then the bankers would not be getting such massive bonuses in the first place.
What we've got is slightly worse.
They've nationalised the losses - so the taxpayer has to uselessly buy up all that "bad debt" - but the bankers still enjoy private control, private "bonuses", etc.
They've socialised the bad bits, but left the good bits in private hands.
Which is a bizarre way to get the bankers to be more prudent and take less unacceptable risks.
You need to hold the mic further away from you. It's a little too loud. Also, gargle with warm salt water before doing this interview. It sounds like you may have been coughing a little... did you have a cold? You're the best.
Stimulus package is nothing more than a band-aid for a dying patient. Let it die already and from it we will grow anew. I'd say throwing good money after bad but it isn't even good money.
Corporate fraud is the root of all this evil and we're looking to Lucifer for justice and accountability? Seriously!
By the way, what's up with being a constant feature on RussiaToday? I'm all for being Global friendly but who's Resident are you again? You're not considering AfghanistanTomorrow?
When people watch these interviews, they can see for themselves that the policies of the American government are not necessarily always what the American people support - straight from the horse's mouth.
If there was more coverage like this, then maybe you could learn to differentiate between the Russian government and the Russian people, the Afghan government and the Afghan people...
...and come to realise how narrow-minded and parochial you're actually being in making that kind of comment.
KlaxonCow - Completely disregarding whether "the people" don't support American government policies. - It would be bad if there was more reporting like this. Sadly theresident tends to lean a little to far to the "left" while conducting interviews and then when she edits. IDK about you but I am sick of biased news reports.
There is nothing intrinsically "left" or "right" about interviewing people in the street.
Now, you might feel the Rez has a "left-leaning bias" - but there's nothing stopping someone else doing exactly the same thing with a "right-leaning bias" or no bias.
Interviewing people is, obviously, not intrinsically "left-wing" or "right-wing" - it's just human communication put in front of a camera lens.
So, no, I'm sorry, you can't "completely disregard" what I was saying about "the people" - because that was the be-all and end-all of my entire point. I was not saying nor implying anything beyond what I said.
For me, the left / right divide is simply a false dichotomy - so I don't care nor comment on it, other than to expose it for the illusion which it is.
To disregard my point is to basically disregard the entirety of what I just said - in which case, who are you actually talking to?
If you have your own entirely separate point about the Rez being "leftist" or whatever then that's just fine, and you should make your point on your own time.
But it's really got absolutely nothing to do with what I was just saying.
Have some courage - if you have an issue with Rez's coverage, then take it up with her directly. I will not act as your "human shield".
Um..... NO! KC, you can lean left or right. The questions you ask in an interview are what give you the ability to lean left or right. For instance, if your questions favored religion and you edited out all the negative interviews, your interview and reporting would be RIGHT BIASED! Are you really that thick you are unable to understand this?!? oh btw i think you responded to your self the second time o_O
Unfortunately there are always some unscrupulous people when money is available. Some will try to fill their pockets and pockets of their relatives or friends. Too much money is always squandered. Look at the money given to Iraq that can not be accounted for or the exorbitant amounts of money that government contractors bilk the taxpayers out of. It's the actions of those who look to take advantage of any money available that bring negativity to any plan of action.
We have to clean up Wall Street, and not let guys like Madoff get special treatment. These guys have to be treated like a street thug robbing somebody, not like royalty because they have money. We also need to get the voting on these bills out of the hands of politicals, and back into our hands where they belong. Then nobody can line their pockets to get a bill passed. Lastly, we need to address our trade policies that make it cheaper to make things overseas, and ship here...
occupy ALL streets .... ?

That is because the real power structure of this country is above the president and his crooked wall street, lobbyist-filled administration. Both parties in the US are a joke--privately owned, no less. It's all intentional to keep the people distracted from who really pulls the strings.

The opposite of blind trust is not cynical paranoia because paranoid cynics don't trust -anybody- and that's just as much of a failure to -distinguish- honest from dishonest as naivete is.

I have something to add to the last comment. How did this financial crisis happen? And we are back again to blame the government. (Hey don't give thumbs down alright! Just reply!)

I tend to agree with that, the people are as much responsible for the crisis and it's kind of silly for people to say "the governement should work out a plan to prevent companies in the future from being able to screw us over after giving us the means to have more goods than we can afford."

But you did elect these characters...

The entire Federal Reserve is a Ponzi scheme.

700 billion dollars for TARP (Banks bailout money)
789 billion dollars for "Economic Stimulus Package
410 billion dollars for Omnibus Appropriations Act (Fiscal Year 2009)
$3.6 trillion Obama budget for this year
That is almost $5.5 trillion
If I divide that number by 300 million Americans, well sorry I can't, those numbers are just too big.
What's not to trust!
drkangravewing 2 years ago
$5.5 trillion / 300 million Americans ~= $18,333 per American.
Which is more than the whole yearly wage of a 40-hour-5-day-a-week employee on minimum wage, living in Washington D.C. (which has the highest minimum wage of any State).
Yet bankers can still enjoy up to a $500,000 yearly "bonus" - now being implicitly paid for out of taxpayers' money - as "reward" for them totally fucking up the world's economy.
One senses that governments do not seem to share the same priorities as their people.
KlaxonCow 2 years ago
In a free economy, the bankers don't get bonuses paid by taxpayers. They go bankrupt and a judge divides up and liquidates their assets! Same with the Auto Ind. We are all socialists now!
drkangravewing 2 years ago
Ah, not quite.

I have been too!
I hope you gargle with warm salt water. It really does help.
Feel better!

Lori, you are too freegin hopeful lol, I don't wanna sound like the Grinch, but the gov. leaders practice in the occult.
Do you see that the globalist agenda, the NWO, is going to bring about WW3. Cashless RFID implants, and a one world global dictatorship?
Obama actually got his '09 war budget from Bush's administration. Also, no Iraq withdraw but a phony one in Aug 2010. I read in the news today.
The Gov. calls people "useless eaters"! Wants population control, meaning 6 billion dead. NUKES

EquivocallyAbsurd 2 years ago 5
The Resident has always labelled herself as "a resident of the planet" from day one.
And what exactly would be wrong with letting the people of Afghanistan hear the opinions of people on the streets of NYC anyway?
Wouldn't you be interested, in reverse, to hear the unfiltered and uncensored opinions of the ordinary people on the streets of Afghanistan?
Find out what the people themselves believe - not just hearing only the carefully filtered propaganda of governments controlling opinion.

KlaxonCow 2 years ago
KlaxonCow - Completely disregarding whether "the people" don't support American government policies. - It would be bad if there was more reporting like this. Sadly theresident tends to lean a little to far to the "left" while conducting interviews and then when she edits. IDK about you but I am sick of biased news reports.
semperneoeon 2 years ago
That's besides the point.
KlaxonCow 2 years ago
So, no, I'm sorry, you can't "completely disregard" what I was saying about "the people" - because that was the be-all and end-all of my entire point. I was not saying nor implying anything beyond what I said.
For me, the left / right divide is simply a false dichotomy - so I don't care nor comment on it, other than to expose it for the illusion which it is.
To disregard my point is to basically disregard the entirety of what I just said - in which case, who are you actually talking to?
KlaxonCow 2 years ago
If you have your own entirely separate point about the Rez being "leftist" or whatever then that's just fine, and you should make your point on your own time.
But it's really got absolutely nothing to do with what I was just saying.
Have some courage - if you have an issue with Rez's coverage, then take it up with her directly. I will not act as your "human shield".
KlaxonCow 2 years ago
Um.....

EA,
Let America die???
I'd rather just restart the economic engine with a stimulus bill. As we've just done.

The government is chosen by the people, right? I don't know if I trust the ability of the people who choose our leaders to spend money wisely.
