I like this song. It's kinda nice... soothing. :) I love Alanis Morisette, but really, that's just wrong that they did not credit you! D< Especially for a pretty song. :3
Mmmm, look, I write my own music, LOL. So yeah, I'm unknown. =/ But it's better than being hounded.
Well, they are not legally required to do all that. Anyway, my song was obtained totally legitimately and i was paid a portion of the license fee -- eventually. It was pretty puny but lesson learned. It's just kind of a great thing, and kind of a bummer at the same time! I'm not getting rich, or even earning a living wage, doing it this way. So any BIG music supervisors, directors, actors, producers out there, just google me!
"...None of the replacement music is credited in the DVD."
NOT COOL.
I read your explanation of these events on musicthoughts. It's bad enough they seriously undervalued your work - but then to not even credit it so people hearing it could look you up - that's just layering needless malice on top of greed. Would it really have been all that expensive for them to add your information to the credits, or on the accompanying materials? I hope BMI or someone DOES help you here.
