The Qur'an was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad over a period of two decades, calling people to worship One Almighty God and to live their lives according to this faith. The Qur'an contains stories of Biblical prophets, because these prophets also preached the message of God. Stories are not merely copied, but the oral traditions are referred to in a way that focuses on the examples and teachings that we can learn from them.
In the beginning when Zakir Naik talks about the world ending, does he mean the earth or the universe? Because "the starts will lose their luster" has nothing to do with the earth, unless that means the atmosphere will be so polluted that no one can see the stars anymore. Anyone care to explain?
@Yaiyasmin when the stars lose their luster,it means the stars lose their shine and the only way for that to happen if the stars were to die.If the sun, being a star, would to die off, would it not affect the earth? The sun is an important player in the water cycle,in photosynthesis,in giving heat to the earth,in providing the necessary gravitational pull on the earth and keeping it and other planets on their orbits.
Masha Allah both the Doctors are Allah-gifted Muslim preachers, who are converting many people to Islam.......Excellent arguments they have given here......They should keep it up !!
Dr Zakir Naik is incredible. Not only has he memorised the holy Quran and the translation word by word, verse by verse.. but he has also memorised the whole bible, torah and many other religious books!! He can quote the exact words, chapter and verse when he refers to something. He is just a great scholar who is gifted in every way. He has the most incredicle memory. Most of us would struggle to even study MEDICINE.. he mastered medicine and memorised every religious book out there. Subhanallah.
Yes brother first if u have a deadbody of animal but if nothing else is available then u can eat from a human deadbody just in case u have fear of death.
@SamirTuber , what I understood from what Dr Zakir Naik was saying is most probably a Hafiz cannot give reference to the Ayaat , by referencing means referencing the Surah # and Ayat #. Hafiz can ofcourse quote the whole Verse. So quoting means to read out exact Verse but to quote means to give reference # of Surah # and Verse #. I hope I am making sense.
There is one thing i really don't understand,Dr. Zakir Naik says in the end that a hafiz can't give a reference from the Quran in his own language(translated from Arabic),i don't know if i am wrong, but a hafiz can give a reference he cites the ayah from the Quran, and in the madrasah where he studied they mostly learn the tafsir(meaning of the verse).
I think u should not judge things till u have the proof.. as they say -innocent till shown otherwise-
i have seen a video on youtube about a scientist "american if i'm not wrong" saying that quran has described the embryo stages in a way no one 1400 years ago can know them..
also, big bang, moon split, sea currents.. those are examples.. there are whole institutions built just for interpreting the quran scientific facts..
Religion offers potential answer for this fundamental question.
Personally, I was raised a Catholic but after investigating the Bible, its sources and the doctrine of the Trinity I realised it was fundamentally flawed.
It came across Islam several years back, and I was dumbfounded by the compatibility of its teachings with our human nature and the messege that there is only One God. After more research, I felt I would be decieving myself if I did not embrace it, and alhamdulliah, I am Muslim
a Muslim believes that we are going to be held accountable for everything we do and say. If this much is true, then of course what we do in the present can have profound effects on the future.
Ultimately our target is the hereafter, but it would be unreasonable to assume that we will achieve what we consider to be 'paradise' by following our base desires.
Everything we do in life, including our discourse here is only possible because we exist. Discovering why we exist is fundamental
I have a guestion. I am christian and i believe in holy spirit that makes miracles and make peopel speak tongues and prophecy...what does islam says about that...are there in islam that kind of power that makes miracles...if not jesus is god
I don't know if this answers your question but in the Islamic view, All the Prophets (Jesus, Moses, Muhammad etc.) of God with God's will can perform miracles and were inspired with prophecies.
"Indeed to Moses we gave the Torah and sent after him other messengers in succession; then we gave Jesus, the son of Mary, clear signs and strengthened him with the Holy Spirit. Why is it that whenever there come to you a prophet with a message which did not suit your desires, you became so arrogant that to some of them you called imposters and others you killed!"
As Muslims we believe in God (Allah) alone as the Creator and nothing happens without it being His will. God alone performs miracles and they have been performed through His prophets, including Jesus. However, prophethood has been sealed with the Prophet Muhammad and so miracles do not occur any longer, rather we believe in the fact that Allah has blessed some from His creation with great blessings that some might call miracles... technically they're not miracles.
We believe only prophets are the ones who receive revelations from God.. if there was something like you said in Islam, then you could see people running around claiming they have been inspired by God and delivering false messages, but that part has been made clear.
But anyone whom Allah wills can be guided by him, but its not like revelation.. Revelation from God seized with prophet Muhammed (pbuh)
Can anyone tell me the name of the nasheed in the beginning and the name of the one who sings it.. sjazakhallaho ghayran, may Allah give djannat al firdaus for the one who answers me the first
JOF was truly an amazing experience. For those who missed it, make sure you purchase their DVDs and attend future conferences inshaAllah. Bring your nonmuslim friends and family. We had a few nonmuslims with sincere questions. One of whom was a Christian and after Zakir Naik gave him an answer he came back the next day to give his shahadah, Allahu Akbar.
Great video, Zakir Naik shows the non muslims the truth! How knows evolution is a lie, I hope other people see this
