First of all I'm Asian so I hold no bias towards the white or black race, but one criticism I have for this movie is the racial stereotypes. It portrays white people as always being richer and better off than black people, and the black people are in a poor condition and have to always be rescued by whites. While unfortunately that's true much of the time, it still isn't very good to promote it in movies like this. JUST SAYING :P

the way it happened. These white people just happened to be rich, and the black guy just

happened to be poor. Do you want them to change the truth of these people and this story because they

just happen to fall into racial stereotypes? So....should we change history so nobody fits into a stereotype? That doesn't even make sense. Then it wouldn't be history, would it?

love and needed a family and took him into theirs. They could have 'rescued' him with just money, but
