At least you can still use the A/V input. I use mine still to trouble shoot just about anything with composite video. I even plugged in a XBOX 360 into to it once.

They've not been using that Aussie guy for a long time. What's funny is that I had no idea this cat lived in the same place as me when I clicked on this video. But that ad was on ALL THE FUCKING TIME! I can't imagine any other market having the shit car ads we have.

i discovered that the tv tuner has technically NOTHING to do with the gamegear digital hardware,it all goes passtrough the system,

no matter if you use a digital tv box convertor or riguler tv channels .

either, not all gamear models has the external video and audio pins input so the tv tuner does,nt work on it.

shame on it awg.

Hooking a converter to it would ruin the whole point of it being portable : P So yes it's pretty worthless now sadly. I have a Sony Watchman which can now be used for a doorstop and a Radioshack TV band radio that I can use for target practice. Thanks US for making it digital and nothing else. Ugh. Hopefully one day they come up with a portable digital TV tuner for PSP or DS or whatever system is to follow those. Such a great idea this was to give that extra something to the game system's uses.
