Also, as per the name of 'Boards of Canada', which was named after the film board of Canada, seems much more appropriate to use it. But, that is neither here nor there. It's just a tad unoriginal to be using this for a music video after someone else has used it for a music video.

The idea is not "everyone can use it, so who cares" it's "It's already been used, they should try something else."

Not to burst anyone's bubble, but BOC didn't make this video, and even if they used it first, it doesn't mean they have exclusive rights to it.

If it's not clear, this isn't a rip-off. If it was sequenced exactly the same, it would be, but you can clearly see it's different. It's interesting how ignorant people are, they won't even give this song a chance just because they used the same source video.

What I am saying here is that the fan who paired the video of "one got fat" with the BoC did an amazing job and has received huge praise for what he did. It was done before and done so well that the two appear as one being. This video and the music of the Albertans go together about as good as lime juice and toothpaste.
