RC 101-interview with 4 channel picoo z inventor

One of the most impressive sub-mini heli designs I've seen so far is the RH-757H1. Although made known in March of this year, I cannot comment on its performance since its rather difficult to get.

Guys, I am really convinced that this is a really 4 channel helicopter....saw its video, that it can Hoover, fly side way, fly forward and reverse.

I've seen a lot of micro Helicopter claiming its a 4 channel, but if you look at the way it fly, it just a 2 channel, just like the old picco-z.

first a 4 channel can fly up, down, left, right,foward,backward,and left rotation and finaly right rotation. these take an intermediate skill to fly and master.

You are actually cheating by taking existing ready made controllers which you can purchase very cheaply these days and using actuators. Where is the invention there? Had you come up with a working sytem and a full design of a helicopter from scratch years ago, you would be more credible.

I don't like to argue semantics, however, your arguing the word "inventor" in this video.

I argue the word "4 channel" in your old picoo z video, I'm discussing the video in which you have a yellow modified picoo z flying in fast forward flight indoors, and it has a bar on the front. It is never seen going in reverse or rolling left or right so it's hard to say it's 4 channel. I do remember you posting the video on rcuniverse and refusing to post further video showing it flying in reverse.

what is presented here is the 4 ch implementation using the slide pin approach. No swash,no servos,just a couple of pins and the "existing ready made controllers which you can purchase very cheaply these days and using actuators". When i present these things,for me its "sharing" and making sure those who are reading can easily duplicate it thus using "ready made" electronic parts and not making statements out of the blue to make it look like its a very hard to and complicated invention.

Besides i greatly doubt that your "4 channel IR micro" is even flying four channel. All i see is a flying heli doing forward flights and excessive yaws. That is a characteristic of a 2 channel helicopter. It is easy to add a statement on a doubtful video and claim a 4 channel config but if the video shows even a slight hint of rolls and reverse flight then anyone can say "now that is a 4 channel".

You must not have noticed 2:35

the helicopter clearly rolls sideways left through a small loop, then it rolls right back through the same loop. 4 channels of control are required for such a maneuver. That's more then a "slight hint of roll" so it is obviously 4 channels, a blind man could see it.

However your old video claiming to be of a yellow 4 channel picoo z never showed even the slightest hint of roll or reverse flight. it was simply fff.

he has been around the micro helicopter scene for a while. he has a really bad attitude, and he thinks that he invented everything in the world that has to do with micro helicopters, their are a bunch of posts wear he makes wild claims, a bunch of people have asked him to back up his claims but he never does.

I did considerable early work, with micro helis, supplemented by actual helicopter kts and products, before anyone in this arena or market did similar stuff. You say I make wild claims, go take a look at my site that has been in operation since 2000. It is all there for you or anyone with any doubts. I know of your work, I've seen pretty much all of your videos, including your old "4 channel picco z video"

that only shows 2 channels of motion.

Mario, I consider your worlds smallest 4 channel helicopter video as bogus as it is not 4 channel. Your site mostly sell overweight canopies & frames for most popular helis but I dont see a kick ass helicopter you sell that is really flying.All I see is a bunch of pictures of small helis which i doubt that it is even flying plus a gamut of choppy flying heli videos that is heavily edited to simply advertise your site. And how about your WORLD's SMALLEST FIRST 4CH RC Helicopter that flies no different from any 2-ch picooz? He's funny that way, I've seen him torn apart in a number of threads, that video is sooo old and boring, most people who make such claims can back them up, all he would have had to do is post a video showing a swash plate or some thing manipulating pitch and roll, but like you said it's a 2 channel heli, disguised as 4 channels. Eqmod had no trouble proving his claims with a 30 second video, Mario can't seam to do that, if so he would post it as a video response instead of his fake 4 ch vid.

i cant wait for that to go to the mass productions, when the factories get it and im pretty sure the companies will 'upgrade' the prototype to more mechanicle lighter parts and most likely have to design a new motor and use a more powerful lipo, nice work.

Videos are getting better, but the sound levels need to be brought up some more. I had a little trouble hearing with my sound turned all the way up.
