or the people might just form their own Peace Officer Force to watch Law Enforcement Officers, and insure they do their job properly... People might also have more respect if cops weren't reduced to tax collectors with guns... Peace.

I find it to be utterly INSANE that they can just abduct and kidnap people off the street, and hold you illegally, etc, but yet they NEED a "signed affidavit" from a random guy in order to "go after" Robert Menard. WTF?

Then they revert to "mental assessment"? So, people are being tried by quack-doctors, instead of courts? Again they NEED a third party witness in order to go after someone. All of this suggests that they do indeed always need a witness, which seems to substitute for a victim.

i have the exact same problem with people not being capable of understanding the a legal document does not constitute my identity. whenever i have to use my legal name ex. ordering via phone i always specify that "my legal name is (fill in the blank)" to differenciate who i am from the document that identifies me. more people should recognize that. it is more important than they think.
