Some of this is a load of shit. for instance the "idea" of the universe. the universe and matter was not created by an idea. the universe and matter inside came from the big bang and evolved into what it is now. i agree that everything including solid matter contains energy. i also believe in parallel universes and higher dimensions. the big bang was merely created by a collision of two 3 dimensional rippling membranes which gave rise to our universe and the matter in it.

Some of this is a load of shit. for instance the "idea" of the universe. the universe and matter was not created by an idea. the universe and matter inside came from the big bang and evolved into what it is now. i agree that everything including solid matter contains energy. i also believe in parallel universes and higher dimensions. the big bang was merely created by a collision of two 3 dimensional rippling membranes which gave rise to our universe and the matter in it.

We do know that there almost certainly more the the Universe than just our Observable Universe, currently 27.4B light-years or about 46B light-years across, depending upon how you want to define distances. But we've no idea how much more. It could be infinite or finite. We don't have any way of knowing. This guy is pulling claims out of his ass and presenting them as fact. This much becomes very clear in the first 3 minutes. The rest isn't worth my time.

I got into astronomy a couple of months ago and have been doing my own research so far with the limited high school science background that I have. Saw the title of this so I figure I'll check it out. I have to agree with the last couple of comments. I guess this is what might be considered modern mythology. When we have actual, factual scientific knowledge I don't see the point of stuff like this.

i don't buy that there was nothing before the big bang. No time or space? don't buy it. and this is not an argument for god or anything, but something needed to be there. Time could really be endless. Even if there was nothing where our universe lies, I believe there have been an infinite # of universes before and after ours... maybe some run off from one of these is what started ours/ caused the big bang... so maybe we didn't have time, but it and matter existed somewhere.. what do u think?
