I think that no matter how attractive a person thinks they are, there will always be someone out there more attractive. Therefore, putting sole emphasis on the physical appearance of the body seems shallow. It is great to work out and look sexy and be appreciated by the opposite sex but I don't think it should be the ONLY thing that a person prides themselves on.

I have no sympathy for people who think their lives are tough because they are consider themselves too good looking. I mean, it's all in how you present yourself, isn't it? A good looking woman does not have to dress herself up. She doesn't have to look flashy or wear make up. An unattractive woman has far less options available to her. If you have a good personality, it's going to shine through no matter what. Being too "good looking" is just a sad excuse for having a mediocre personality.
I don't think it is fair to say that beautiful people never develop an attitude and simply go through life without challenges. Thin, beautiful people have different life challenges than overweight people. Neither life is easy but thats the whole point of going through life, to grow. No two people live the exact same life, so you really shouldn't lump people together based on things like weight. That's part of what i think is wrong with the world today.

People that judge others by their appearance actually have problems of their own. People are made up over time and they are products of their surroundings. So if they have been exposed to this sort of behavior at a young age then it is likely they will react in a way in which they were taught. I believe their is only one judge and everyone will meet him someday. Treat others as you would want treated. Zuzana you have a rockin body and mind. You are doing a good thing here for everyone.

As someone who was very overweight and unattractive for most of my life, who then became fit, I couldn't help but notice the difference in the way women treated me. I began to be approached on nearly a daily basis when before no one seemed to see me or notice that I was there. I'm sure I gained confidence afterward that attracted women, but there's no question that generally people treat fat people much differently. That's just life. You can whine about it or change yourself

FYI. Believe it or not some men prefer to train simply for functional strength, flexibility and all the things that come with it. Some people see fitness as an art not of good looks in an attractive sense but in an aesthetic sense. Or they may just enjoy the activity whether it be running or martial arts. Maybe they just can't afford a car and biking makes them fit.
Not every man works out to be attractive, gay, or creepy (those, of course, are mutually exclusive). Some do.
Men are a lot more visual then women. A women would rather have a funny successful man then a handsome man. Men on the other hand, will go Ga Ga over any hot girl they see. So, a hot women will be treated better then a good looking guy. The easier it is for either sex to get the opposite sex attracted to them through looks the less they will have to work on other things, such as personality and brains.
I think that in ten years people will be so isolated with media streaming it wont matter what you look like but more how you interact, its already happening.

I find that a lot of times good looking people in general are usualy happier at least on the outside and both men and women are generaly nicer to them. Ive found lower % of attractive women to have friendly personalities toward not so attractive men. Attractive men will go way out of their way to be friendlier to attractive women than non. This stuff is fundamental. Both have an agenda, and if being good looking makes it easier to obtain your goals than, yeah, pretty people have it easier.

Despite the fact that it's a cliche, I'm always drawn to a girl with confidence (even if by general standards she isn't a complete knockout). Then my good friends started to act threatened and pulled away. I started getting attention from guys who wouldn't even give me a second glance two years prior, and the only friends I could seem to make were Vapid self obsessed girls. I have been on both sides of this. When I was 16 I didn't wear makeup, I was overweight, and I had thick long frizzy hair. Everyone called me frizz ball. I was considered to be a nerd I guess. All my friends were real people and loved me for who I was. I didn't care what people thought because I was happy. Well I decided to take steps to become healthier and more fit. I lost all the weight, gained confidence, started putting effort into myself. (sorry this is long there is more>>>>)
Its not about looks all the time when your young looks matter but as your older you tend to be a people person... but when your fat and not attractive you dont get the attention thats true but some people work all the time and dont take care of them example (me) but over all its how confident you carry out your self as a person...love your vid thanks....:)
I guess I'm considered conventionally beautiful, and I do find that people are more responsive and kinder to me honestly. Especially working part time as a server. I get better tips, and men sometimes come into the restaurant requesting me to be their waitress just because they like how I look. A lot of people think I'm beautiful and when I was younger I didn't like all the attention I got because of it. People wanted to be my friend and followed me around to th piont of madness! It hurt me and amde me think that I was nothing but looks. I wanted to prove them wrong and started to hide my beauty by turning my cloths black. At that piont no one wanted to be my friend and if I got a few I knew they were for real.
Both situations you mentioned are very valid. But it's all to do with your self-esteem and how you carry yourself, in my honest opinion. That affects a whole lot how people see/treat you.

Oh, wow... I can probably confirm some of the statements here. I find that women who are overweight (like me), or just not very pretty, but who have a nice personality (like my friends say I have), simply cannot compete against women who are pretty but maybe a bit uninteresting. I'm also not saying that pretty people are not inteligent or smart or funny or nice people, of course. Appearance is what seems to matter more than personality. Non-pretty women can only be guys' friends.
That's because most people prefer, to a large extent, their own company best - and of course, because the sex is better the more you find someone attractive.

Hmm, to answer Zuzana's question. Well, I'm a guy and I, too, have noticed this. Note: I work out 2hrs/day, mon-fri. Have toned arms and almost at abs.
I've noticed that when I don't shave, bad haircut, long sleeves, and perhaps not-so-new pants.. girls tend to ignore. As if just past by not recognizing my existence. It's kinda sad how thats how society works
Then when I have a clean shave & wear tight shirts, it is the total opposite. I love it, hehehe.

FYI. Believe it or not some men prefer to train simply for functional strength, flexibility and all the things that come with it. Some people see fitness as an art not of good looks in an attractive sense but in an aesthetic sense. Or they may just enjoy the activity whether it be running or martial arts. Maybe they just can't afford a car and biking makes them fit.
Not every man works out to be attractive, gay, or creepy (those, of course, are mutually exclusive). Some do.

Men are a lot more visual then women. A women would rather have a funny successful man then a handsome man. Men on the other hand, will go Ga Ga over any hot girl they see. So, a hot women will be treated better then a good looking guy. The easier it is for either sex to get the opposite sex attracted to them through looks the less they will have to work on other things, such as personality and brains.

I went through a little bit or high school getting picked on for my hair colour but my size was normal lol. But almost alot of the girls at my school were fat and they all had the best boyfriends. But in the end I ended up with a great guy his personality is amazing, he's got a nice body but he isn't 100% good looking and people told me I should do better. But he is the best out there really he is :)

my old best friend was absolutely gorgeous... she kind of put on an act... but i feel her intelligence was very underrated because her beauty was so visible
i also agree with the girls blog. i know, being from both sides of the spectrum, being thinner is much much easier. i actually used to be very shy, but having gained weight you do need to have a better personality and develop those traits and work much harder

well i have actually been in that situation! all my life up till my sophomore year in highschool i was a chunky girl! and i started playing soccer my freshman year and lost weight in that year and guys did look at me a bit differently asked me out and stuff but now that i am in college and have now gained the weight back i dont get looked at the same!

Yes, in some ways I think more attractive people have it easier. But, sometimes a great personality can make someone attractive. Anyway, I find it annoying that someone who gets paid ALOT of money because they were lucky to be born beautiful complains about it. Please! Do something with your gift. I'm not a big fan, but at least Angelina adopts children, and gives away lots of money and her own time to worthy causes. And she never complains about being beautiful!

I love how all of ypur workouts require very little to no excersise equiptment or space. It makes people realize that u don't have to have a gym or money to buy products to be fit. Basically just keep urself healthy by moving and training your body in different ways. You are an inspiration to many people. Thank you!

I find that a lot of times good looking people in general are usualy happier at least on the outside and both men and women are generaly nicer to them. Ive found lower % of attractive women to have friendly personalities toward not so attractive men. Attractive men will go way out of their way to be friendlier to attractive women than non. This stuff is fundamental. Both have an agenda, and if being good looking makes it easier to obtain your goals than, yeah, pretty people have it easier.

Then my good friends started to act threatened and pulled away. I started getting attention from guys who wouldn't even give me a second glance two years prior, and the only friends I could seem to make were Vapid self obsessed girls. I was still a nerd that wanted to have intelligent conversations but I was also pretty so I didn't fit in with my old group who bashed the pretty girls...lol. I never gained weight back and stopped caring about how I looked but people seemed more real then...

I have been on both sides of this. When I was 16 I didn't wear makeup, I was overweight, and I had thick long frizzy hair. Everyone called me frizz ball. I was considered to be a nerd I guess. All my friends were real people and loved me for who I was. I didn't care what people thought because I was happy. Well I decided to take steps to become healthier and more fit. I lost all the weight, gained confidence, started putting effort into myself. (sorry this is long there is more>>>>)

I guess I'm considered conventionally beautiful, and I do find that people are more responsive and kinder to me honestly. Especially working part time as a server. I get better tips, and men sometimes come into the restaurant requesting me to be their waitress just because they like how I look. But I'm happy to say that I'm a nice and intelligent person as well so that when I'm old and my looks go, I still have my personality. =) Thanks for opening up the conversation, Zuzana.

A lot of people think I'm beautiful and when I was younger I didn't like all the attention I got because of it. People wanted to be my friend and followed me around to th piont of madness! It hurt me and amde me think that I was nothing but looks. I wanted to prove them wrong and started to hide my beauty by turning my cloths black. At that piont no one wanted to be my friend and if I got a few I knew they were for real.
It's hard both ways, belive me.

ive got more of the looks package as well and all i can say is that it depends on the guys. most guys wont care if i even have a brain it seems. however, the good part is you can tell if the guy is good for you or not because the ones who are nice and worth it always try and get to know me which shows me they're not just interested in looks. just be yourself and girls if you're overweight the best way is to fix it, it'll boost your confidence :)

I am a prettier than average girl, but I have a girlfriend that is super hot and every time we go out to lunch or get a drink or whatever, the manager or someone comps us. It is really funny how even in the grocery store all the heads turn. I really don't think she has a problem with the fact that people jump to do things for her...hehehe....by the way I don't get that reaction on my own. Oh, wow... I can probably confirm some of the statements here. I find that women who are overweight (like me), or just not very pretty, but who have a nice personality (like my friends say I have), simply cannot compete against women who are pretty but maybe a bit uninteresting. I'm also not saying that pretty people are not inteligent or smart or funny or nice people, of course. Appearance is what seems to matter more than personality. Non-pretty women can only be guys' friends.
