Thank you very much for this video it was very informative. I'm writing a book but I wanted to do something like Rick Riordan did with Percy Jackson (he's my role model) when he made a book about dylexic and ADHD kids which made those kids feel better about themselves. I wanted to do that to make a difference too. So in my book these people with special mind powers have synesthesia (if you don't know what it is you can look it up) and autism. But I didn't know about autism so I wanted to find...

I have seen alot of accounts of autistic children who started off as normal babies the regressed when they became toddlers. I did not know that only 10% of babies were actually born autistic. I Must have been born autistic because my mum told me that I used to go stiff when she held me as a very tiny baby and I had delayed speech and was late to smile. I didn't make eye contact until I was 6. However I am high functioning and have a high intelligence.

The second thing that I don't think is accurate is that only 10% of kids are born with autism and the rest develop it later. Regressive autism is supposed to be rare and possibly doesn't exist. yeah, schizophrenia is like the same thing, except that we have memory. I have to bow to everyone, so if I don't lose fast enough then my social manners aren't right. As a person, I was naturally terrified. Yes, I can read facial expressions, and I understand the underlying social mediums. Yes, they have silly rules. Now that I'm detached, I don't always pay attention because they aren't anything. There's no point in them. She's totally right.

Thank you for sharing, this video is productive, and extremely heart warming. I am going to post it on my site, i have a 4,1/2 year old son with pdd-nos high functioning, but is exactly as you depicted in this video.... Keep up the work of educating the world on Autism/Pdd-Nos. Many people don't understand our children, and how difficult it is for them to assimilate aspects other take for granted.

My family and I have had the extreme pleasure of knowing Mike, Sarah, Zane, Marcus, Eowyn and now Ean for over 4 years. My girls have babysat Eowyn and her brothers on numerous occasions always look forward to going to there house to visit. Whenever we meet Eowyn in public or at her home she always comes up and gives us a hug and a kiss. Mike and Sarah have done a phenominal job raising Eowyn. I have seen some kids shy away from Eowyn while my girls embrace her. I hope more people can understand
