...out more about it. This was very helpful. In my book the reason why the kids have autism and synesthesia is because their brains are more developed, thus giving them mind powers.
Thank you very much for this video it was very informative. I'm writing a book but I wanted to do something like Rick Riordan did with Percy Jackson (he's my role model) when he made a book about dylexic and ADHD kids which made those kids feel better about themselves. I wanted to do that to make a difference too. So in my book these people with special mind powers have synesthesia (if you don't know what it is you can look it up) and autism. But I didn't know about autism so I wanted to find...
I have seen alot of accounts of autistic children who started off as normal babies the regressed when they became toddlers. I did not know that only 10% of babies were actually born autistic. I Must have been born autistic because my mum told me that I used to go stiff when she held me as a very tiny baby and I had delayed speech and was late to smile. I didn't make eye contact until I was 6. However I am high functioning and have a high intelligence.
Thank you very much!!! I've gone through 20 video's and I found yours the most factional and informative - I really didn't have a clear understanding of what autism was and this explained it very nicely!! Again - Thank you!!
Thank u for posting this video.. I've seen commercials mentioning Autism and that's all it is.. MENTIONING... i wanted to know more and ur video is beautiful and informative... I'm glad I've found this video in trying to have a better understanding of Autism... God bless ;)
My daughter is also autistic and I finally realize that there IS a cure for autism. Its LOVE, PATIENCE, AND UNDERSTANDING! Is it too much to ask the World to understand ONE innocent little girl than to ask one innocent little girl to understand the WORLD?
My niece is going through a hard time in school children are acting as If its contagious on Monday I am going to explain what it is to children at her school thanks for your video it was very inspiring
Just wanted to thank you for this wonderful video, I actually have two nephews with autistic disorders. My one nephew didn't show signs until almost 3 years old and my other nephew didn't show signs of aspergers until after being in school until 2nd grade. Thank you for this eye opening video.

...subtle in babies. Symptoms usually aren't recognizable until a baby is at least 6 months old, but only if the parents know a heck of a lot about ASD and what to look for.
...cases are now being recognized. 30 years ago these kids would have just been labelled slow, mentally ill or odd, but they're now being recognized as HFA, Aspergers or PDD-NOS.
The second thing that I don't think is accurate is that only 10% of kids are born with autism and the rest develop it later. Regressive autism is supposed to be rare and possibly doesn't exist. Most if not all kids with autism are born with it; it just takes a long time for the symptoms to be obvious. The symptoms are
Lovely and informative video! I like how you've used Beethoven's music as well, because Beethoven had special needs. And the last line about how autism is not contagious but ignorance is - so TRUE! There were 2 things I thought were inaccurate in the video, though... The first one about autism being an epidemic. There is no epidemic; it's just that 30 years ago, only the severe Kanner's autism was recognized but since then they've expanded the definition of autism into a spectrum and many mild
ramble,u used the words, allowing retards to mate,i dont think im being over emotional in my reply.i no of a few autistic adults that are parents, they are beautifull human beings, not retards that have mated,so crawl back in yr hole, and shut up!!!
yeah, schizophrenia is like the same thing, except that we have memory. I have to bow to everyone, so if I don't lose fast enough then my social manners aren't right. As a person, I was naturally terrified. Yes, I can read facial expressions, and I understand the underlying social mediums. Yes, they have silly rules. Now that I'm detached, I don't always pay attention because they aren't anything. There's no point in them. She's totally right.
This is a wonderful video. Watching these videos are very heart warming and make me feel closer to my autistic brothers and sister. Thank-you for uploading this. :-)
Very sweet video! your daughter is so very special and so very beautiful! i understand as i have a son diagnosed with asperger's. thank you for your wonderful video!
thank you for the info since i'm doing a project on Autism ( where i must study it and me and my friend are making a movie to show what its like to have autism)
Blaming disease on Genetics is just a lame way of removing responsibility for what has happened. People need to grow up and stop obeying their doctors and take matters into their own hands. Food is the only medicine people need, absolutely no vaccines are needed; They are based on a false hypothesis, they're toxic and expensive.
@WorldHempRevolution I think the only people who need vaccines are soldiers. I think that they should restrict ordinary peoples' movement so that we don't spread things.
@ThisisBN no, you can be disabled and pop out normal children. That's one of the ethical problems with allowing retards to mate is that it impacts their children. Sure, the environment will cause problems and being a social outcast isn't good.
@returnoftheramble3 what hole did you climb out of man, yeah the enviroment causes problems,it produces low life ignorant fools like you,my autistic son is a black belt karate, and talented drummer an keyboardist and would make a lot lot better parent than some of the terrible parents out there of which category u obviously fall into,loser...
@iriegt I said that retarded people with limited abilities can have normal children. I wasn't using slang "retard." I was being literal. You are being overly emotional and not reading what I wrote. It causes problems because they can't care for their young.
@iriegt I don't think I'd make a very good parent. I have too many odd social pressures that come into play. I would like to be one at some point, but I have to recover first. Right now I have a lot of cognitive troubles from a lot of things.
Congratulations for creating such a lovely educational and inspiring video. It is always difficult for parents/ sibilings to accept the disorder which is of course the first step to helping your child to progress , grow and fly out of frustration.

Thank you for sharing, this video is productive, and extremely heart warming. I am going to post it on my site, i have a 4,1/2 year old son with pdd-nos high functioning, but is exactly as you depicted in this video.... Keep up the work of educating the world on Autism/Pdd-Nos. Many people don't understand our children, and how difficult it is for them to assimilate aspects other take for granted.
Thank you and take great care of your sweet little girl!
Very touching video. I agree that more people need to know what autism is and what kind of effect it has. I have a 9 year old daughter with autism. Thank you for your video. :-)
Thanks, awesome vid! Our son is 9 and nonverbal ASD- I think I need to share this video with many more people... especially persons who work in the school system....
this is very good i dont think that just beacuse she has autism she sould be treated badly or any worse then other children you will always have people who love you and you will always have people wanting to be yourfreind but its more rare meaning you are much more speacil and presuos to the world s dont let anyone or thing hold you back do anything you put your mind to never take no for an anser!

Thank you for making it a little easier to understand.
My family and I have had the extreme pleasure of knowing Mike, Sarah, Zane, Marcus, Eowyn and now Ean for over 4 years. My girls have babysat Eowyn and her brothers on numerous occasions always look forward to going to there house to visit. Whenever we meet Eowyn in public or at her home she always comes up and gives us a hug and a kiss. Mike and Sarah have done a phenominal job raising Eowyn. I have seen some kids shy away from Eowyn while my girls embrace her. I hope more people can understand

Causes of Autism:
- Vaccines
- Improper Nutrition combined with Cell Phone Radiation
(Consuming Toxins in your food combined with the opening of the blood brain barrier of the brain)

That's ridiculous.. Autism is simply a symptom of toxic overload on the body.
Vaccines are filled with some of the MOST toxic substances known to man.

Also genetics will cause autism.
