i find that whenever i listen aloe, he paints a picture in my mind, i think that so many few artist have the purity, beatufullness, and talent to do that, yet aloe, (one of the most talented artist in the realm of hip hop , soul, R&B ) is one of the most unknown , yet im glad the he is not in the mainstream shit, because that would just ruin it.

Rap started out in rap battles. Talking shit is its roots. It's not a bad thing. Its just people are bad at it now lol.
Look at Guru from Gangstarr, he did it without cussing. That's creativity.
Rap is all about ego and beef. Even in underground/conscious hip-hop. I'm fine with it as long as it's witty.
Check out Aloe's label mates (Stones Throw) for good rap. I like Stones Throw because it's all jazz based. Chill, not gangsta.
