No, it's a tiny village called Vandré, a few kilometers from the Western coast and halfway between Nantes and Bordeaux. So small that I couldn't find any information on it. There's probably no connection with our family, which seems to have originated in Nice.
I didn't realize that. My sister spent a few weeks in France and loved it. Some of our distant ancestors came from there, and there's a small town in western Frances, south of Nantes, bearing our family name, Vandre. (No castle with that name, however.)

The castle of Villandry is very famous for its gardens (exactly the same as in the Middle Age and Renaissance centuries) .These gardens mix vegetables , fruits and other plants, flowers.
Ahh...Loir Valley castles....I have visited some of them. I especially enjoyed Chambord because of its beauty and because it is connected to my country's history. A banished polish King lived there at one time. I have seen a lot of countries and in my opinion France is among the most beautiful if not the most beautiful. I enjoyed my time there very much.

No, it's a tiny village called Vandré, a few kilometers from the Western coast and halfway between Nantes and Bordeaux. So small that I couldn't find any information on it. There's probably no connection with our family, which seems to have originated in Nice.

I didn't realize that. My sister spent a few weeks in France and loved it. Some of our distant ancestors came from there, and there's a small town in western Frances, south of Nantes, bearing our family name, Vandre. (No castle with that name, however.)

The castle of Villandry is very famous for its gardens (exactly the same as in the Middle Age and Renaissance centuries) .These gardens mix vegetables , fruits and other plants, flowers.

Ahh...Loir Valley castles....I have visited some of them. I especially enjoyed Chambord because of its beauty and because it is connected to my country's history. A banished polish King lived there at one time. I have seen a lot of countries and in my opinion France is among the most beautiful if not the most beautiful. I enjoyed my time there very much.
