hi all...have you seen the pattern of this year's championship??? both singles runner up in 2008 won this year, serena and roger....both doubles champions won again this year,,,,serena ended the doubles match with an ace...and nenad zimonjic ended the men's doubles with an ace too, on the same side of the court...great wimbledon!!!

sorry to dissappoint you, but they've been talking about playing doubles in the next olympics so they'll be around for a while. And if you're a real fan of tennis, you'll know most good doubles teams attempt to intimidate their opponents. hitting your opponents is a legitimate strategy. it's a battle over the net position. if they're afraid they'll hit a bad volley, and thus get hit on the next shot, other bad teams will attempt to back up and play baseline. its the way singles players play...
