I don't understand what the hype is about. He is neither cute nor does he have a killer voice. I agree, he sounds like a girl in this song. I gave it another chance and listened to another one that has a lower register. Nope. The guy can carry a tune, fine; but his voice... nothing special, really. As most Pinoys can sing, RP is just mediocre.

duh...he's no wannabe...can you imagine RIchard Poon singing a rock song with his kind of voice...pwede ba mag-isip nga people...he is singing this type of genre simply because it fits his voice perfectly...and isa pa he doesn't sound like Michael Buble at all..he sounds more like Jose Mari Chan...who by the way, is also Filipino...stop comparing Filipino artist with international because we are very much capable of sounding great as well...

They all have very unique voices in very similar styles, but I couldn't confuse one with the other. After 7 years of vocal training and having very sensitive ears, it boggles me how someone would think these three sound identical. X(
