Also Bensonhurst is a great area and not as expensive as Manhattan. There are also great colleges here like CUNY, Columbia, NYU and Fordham. There are many tourist attractions in new york. the reason new york apartments in manhattan are so expensive is because you get great views of the best skyline in the world.
NYC is great forget about Chicago. The crime rate in New York is lower. Really do some research and you'll see what city is better. New York has food from EVERY ethnicity. Great stores and malls. A ton of stores downtown as well as restaurants. SoHo is a great place to go shopping. New York has really become a much cleaner city and the prices are really coming down. In Brooklyn I would suggest living in Marine Park, New York they got beautiful "Brownstones" there like houses and apart. combine

Chicago's cost of living is definitely cheaper than NY. most new yorkers can only afford to live in expensive housing projects. where exactly? I would even take an apartment in Harlem, I think it's acutally nice up there and the crime rate seems to be lower than it used to be.

Also Bensonhurst is a great area and not as expensive as Manhattan. There are great stores and Malls like Macys, Hollister, Barneys, Bloomingdales, Raulph Lauren, Lacoste, American Eagle, Levis,abercrombie and fitch and tons more. There are also great colleges here like CUNY, Columbia, NYU and Fordham. There are many tourist attractions in new york. the reason new york apartments in manhattan are so expensive is because you get great views of the best skyline in the world.

NYC is great forget about Chicago. The crime rate in New York is lower. Really do some research and you'll see what city is better. New York has food from EVERY ethnicity. Great stores and malls. A ton of stores downtown as well as restaurants. SoHo is a great place to go shopping. New York has really become a much cleaner city and the prices are really coming down. In Brooklyn I would suggest living in Marine Park, New York they got beautiful "Brownstones" there like houses and apart. combine
