That's funny, I never jumped down ladder because of the simple fact that, well, I never knew how... But I was still able to finish this level with climbing down the ladder with the guy there! It took forever to get it down perfectly, but I finally did it! The problem is, I can't show people here because idk how to get scenes from the TV onto the computer! Help is appreciated on this matter!

Nice! You can use a capture card or just a plain digital camera. The latter is a quick and relatively problemless answer, the former is less so.

I always count eight steps down the ladder before I jump, and then he either lands on his feet or to one knee and gets up quickly. I hated that shibito as well until I found out about Tamons "Special" objective.

But in this level there's the speed advantage of getting instantly back up after you've been attacked, skipping most of the extremely slow 'getting up'-animation.

waaait a sec, how do you jump off of the ladder... which would explain why yoriko dies so soon ... while im trying to climb down all the way =_=

You just press circle whenever you're on a ladder.

This is the reason why it's important for players to complete the secondary mission key objective in Tamon's first level, so that shibito will not appear next time when you finally solve the objective involving the well.
