  • Go Ron Paul for 2012!!! God bless him.

  • Federal laws are slowly turning us into a totalitarianism government and a police state. The people need to wake up and make this fine man our President.

  • yes if he did get elected it would be a lot better. i love his ideas..this is the new age...come on people. we can stand up together and support this man cuz its exactly what its all about!!! less government, more freedom. listen to his message..sooo common sense, so real, so true and the key to heaven on earth....government gonna back down...with him in charge..how easy would it be! dunno bout ya'll but he's got my vote! lol

  • not only usa ,

whole world would b better n b positive affected too

if he would b the president

    god bless

  • this journalist is a tool!

  • @SupportDrRonPaul i'm pretty sure stossell agrees with ron paul, but he is just playing devil's advocate.

  • Doesn't matter if Ron Paul wins or loses the 2012 election LET's DEFEND FOR OUR FREEDOM so we don't become LOYALISTS. (loyalist is loyal to big government)

  • The only thing that i have found that I disagree with is his take on Iran, all you have to do is listen to what they say to know how fucked they are as well as their history throughout the world of terror financing and sponsoring. They will use a nuke if and when they get one and America you are on their short list and as a result so is Canada.

  • @mblackm11 oops lol

  • @grubgrub2010 But they are still a weak country. They're not going to go after the US right away. They want to go after Israel. Israel provokes them and Israel can take care of their own country.

  • @grubgrub2010 If you had ANY idea of how the world really works, you'd agree with Dr Ron Paul fully about his take on foreign relations.

  • @emilyrl No I think that his plan would go achievable in the long term but if it was to be done in a short time frame there would be a tremendous vacuum that would spiral out of control and this would be very harmful to the west. I do however believe in what Dr Paul aspires, I find him very refreshing and wish him well.

  • @grubgrub2010 If they do use a nuke and only if they do, we should then, and only then, nuke them back or take whatever actions are deemed appropriate by our elected representatives. No pre-emptive strikes are allowed in the ancient rules of war which carry into modern day and beyond.

  • look at the energy bill each period yah get rid of it and limit it overpriced

  • How about this thing called the US Debt Ceiling:

Pretend you come home from work and find there has been a sewer backup in your neighborhood and your home has sewage all the way up to its ceiling. What do you think you should do…Raise the ceiling, or pump out the crap?

Your choice is coming Nov. 2012

  • He is a very complex philosophical thinker!! He talks about the FUNDAMENTAL problems and how you can't put these Federal Government laws in place to fix them. RON PAUL 2012

  • Ron makes me like the right. Id vote for him but im a Canadian. If he does not get elected the U.S. is in deep trouble. That means I am too!!!!!!

  • i really like this guy, but im worried that such drastic changes to our government wont go smoothly.

  • @yomama111336 Ron Paul knows that and he talks about transition periods on everything, save bringing the troops home...which he promises to do within the first week.

Just look at it pragmatically...is there another candidate that you feel would actually fight for your rights from the white house? If you find one, let me know so I can have a backup choice.

  • The "wise elites". Literally laughed out loud when I heard that.

  • I like Ron Paul, but you have to be a moron to think that at least some of the things he says aren't fucking crazy. Not necessarily in this interview, but in others.

  • @isubscribeeveryone2 Example? He is the only candidate that seems to make any sense.

  • @isubscribeeveryone2 like what

  • @isubscribeeveryone2 examples?

  • why not let you, the buyers, decide what is the better investment in something (capitalism), instead of some [government] agency, being swayed by others (socialism), to pick for you?

In this, it is regardless that they say they "are you" or are comprised of "you", "your thoughts", et cetera. Why not just have the real "you" just decide?!

  • yea were fucked without Ron Paul as president!

  • Truth has a face. It's Ron Paul's face.

  • I WILL SAY THIS AGAIN OBAMA MADE US GO INTO A DREAM , RON PAUL IS WAKING UP OUR SOCIETY FROM ALL THIS BALONEY SQUARED!!!

  • If it is indeed polite to say so, Ron Paul is a BAMF!!!

  • Ron Paul for President 2012 ! Wake up America! Wake up!!

  • If ron paul isnt elected as president we are all screwed!

  • @hiawatha444 Duh, look around, we have been screwed for a long time and it is not getting any better, but in fact much much worse!

  • GENIUS!

  • dept of energy SOLYNDRA! HA

  • this was banned?

  • the media, never shows anything about ron paul, but they talk about every other candidate and what they ate that morning.

  • @MrJetWave Yea,I noticed that too.

  • "What's wrong with that? The elites in Washington will pick the best investment (for energy)"

    Ummmm...ask Solyndra.

  • Regardless of current ideological views vote Ron Paul ! He understands and will fight for our liberties that we are constitutionally granted.

  • @kopellhinex ok, you're a troll. Obviously you have no idea how capitalism works nor the difference between it and corporatism which I am also against.

  • Dude.... If this guy ever gets elected... random kickass rainbows and sunny blue skies.. EVERYDAY.

  • @MrShakenbake930 i love whit people yall r funnie random kick ass rainbows?

    hahahaaahhaahahahah

  • @yashar254 I love black people, yall are like, i love kfc and saggy tits!

    HAHAHAHAHAHHA

  • That's the greatest point I've ever heard. If passengers were allowed to bring guns on airliners, 9/11 wouldn't have happened.

  • @MarkBTW Not just any passengers, but the staff and pilots. and Hey having a police officer on board would not be a bad idea either.

  • @bcbwnews Exactly. Because as it stands now, if you can get through airport security, you're gonna have a ball on the actual plane. The defense should be on the plane, and people should have the ability to bring material to defend themselves where ever they go, which will decrease crime.

  • great man, it's a shame he's such an uncharismatic dork

  • This man is so honest and BRILLIANT, I can't believe he hasn't have a favorable opportunity, he's The Man, hes right on the money on EVERYTHING he says, O b ama is a good speaker but thats it, h es sold out to the ba nkers, not this guy, THINK you people, hes the only hope for America

  • It's time for a change. We all need to pay attention and vote. Ron Paul should be President in 2012

  • RP has all the right concepts and policies to reinstate our freedoms. He is just too humble to deliver. Not a strong speaker, but definitely VERY WISE!

  • Did you hear that? If the government would not have over regulated the airlines, perhaps the pilots would have been ARMED and 911 would had never happened.

  • While R.P may not really believe in sustainable development, the most interesting aspect of a free market energy & agriculture policy, is that alternate and / or renewable energy as well as organic farming maybe finally have a shot to crack the mainstream. Subsidies to oil and big Agrobiz usually far outmatch the subsidies to any renewable energy companies, and smaller farmers, a free market means sustainable alternatives can take it upon themselves to implicate themselves further into america

  • Capitalism works well in a free market environment where monopolies cannot be maintained. Monopolies squelch competition. Federal laws & their enforcement against monopolistic practices are the only means to resist the immense power of corporate monopolies. Ron Paul must consider this as a viable exception to his otherwise admirable libertarian creed.

  • All Federal bureaucrats will burn in hell for what they have done.

  • This John Stossel keeps asking the same question and Ron Paul keeps answering the same question.

John Stossel says, "we don't need [insert big government function here]?" and illiciting sympathy from people that believe in Santa Claus.

Ron Paul says, "no, we don't, that's not what a limited government does."

  • I hate how interviewers hold up a picture or try to be "unique" in asking questions to try and separate themselves from all these other phoney question askers.

It's so fake, and you can smell the depseration in trying to pull in more viewers.

  • Yes I am a 23 year old with a thing called common sense. You are trying to persuade me to believe an irrational point that in no way what so ever has been proven by anyone. Kinda sounds exactly like our government doesn't it? Obviously you follow a thing called the status quo. If he was a stooge dressed up by the government (which is erroneous) he would of at least won the primary in 2008. I don't care how old I am, so don't tell me I don't know what I'm talking about. You are living a lie.

  • @LarryTenderloin

Do you have a reading comprehension problem? AP's post never tried to persuade anyone into anything. All he did was bring up a valid thought. It's valid because it's been happening forever. You're arguing against something that can't even be argued with. You're just another Youtube nut who likes to argue for the sake of arguing. And you made yourself look like even more of an ass when you tailored the definition of opinion to fit your argument, lol. Give it a rest, dude.

  • @TheChallenger1000 Please tell me what the "valid" point he brought up was, and support it with facts please. Thank you.

  • @LarryTenderloin if ur talking about Ron Paul i would have to say EVERYTHING HE SAID!!

  • It's a great possibility that Ron Paul is another stooge dressed up by Government to appear to be the true American voice of freedom, only for the purpose of having him elected to further the Government's current dishonest agenda's. All I'm saying is, yes Ron Paul sounds GREAT and saying all the things WE want to hear, but it could all be an elaborate illusion, and certainly the Government is not above such a ruse.

  • @AllPro777 Your life is an illusion if you think that. Use some common sense and wake up. What a pitiful opinion.

  • @LarryTenderloin

Smh. It's not an "opinion", it's a look into a possible reality. You're 23, you're young, but still you should be more advanced. Right now you're not developed enough yet to understand how this really works and how it's always worked. Newsflash--and it's really just basic history but to you it will be news--what I described has happened in politics since politics began in every nation on earth including this one. Someday you'll grow to see that truth but you're not ready yet.

  • @AllPro777 And when you say "possible reality" not "actual reality"..... That is called a fucking opinion. Maybe you need to go nack to school sir/ma'am.

  • @AllPro777 When someone starts a sentence with "smh" usually what follows is bullshit and you have further proved that point. Ron Paul will never get elected because he goes against the grain. If he was a wolf in sheep's clothing he would try to actually blend in with them because as you know it's not the people that elect the president it's the elite's wallets. Don't worry though you will never see Ron Paul have great political success because he's a real person that doesn't follow but leads.

  • @jrwaneurysm

When someone wears sunglasses, an epic beard, and an unkempt long hairstyle from the 80's and tries to run his mouth about how someone posts on the internet, he's probably a self-righteous loser. You have further proved that point.

The only thing worthwhile in your diatribe is saying Ron Paul won't be elected, and he probably won't. But it doesn't matter who is elected since one man can't bring down this Government. Unfortunately, most of the people wanting him think he can.

  • Paul | Marcaeux 2012

  • Why was this banned? I mean what was their supposed reason for banning this?

  • As a Finn I'm surprised to hear a politician just say what he means and not mince words.

  • he needs basil marcaeux or jesse ventura as a running mate

  • how was this censored?

  • what kind of government are we living in Corporatism ? its definitely not capitalism....if it doesn't change soon our country will be a fantasy story in history books our children will not have the privilege of reading... ron paul 2012

  • Ron Paul is an extremist. The conservatives don't want him. The liberals don't want him. He brings no solutions to the table, and only wants to revert to old ways that don't work in the 20th or 21st century. He wants to take away government control. This is good? No, it isn't. The government is suppose to come from Government. He wants governing given to the Corporation. He is an idiot and unpatriotic. His rhetoric is dead. He lives in a fantasy world.

  • @Lengo67

    "old ways that don't work"

because the way we do things today is obviously working, right?

and he wants less FEDERAL control, there is a huge difference. the states will still operate like normal.

    open your eyes, man.

  • @Lengo67 unpatriotic? fuck man why couldnt u put that as ur first word in ur senstences to save me from readin ur garbage?

  • Comment removed

  • @Lengo67 "The government is suppose to come from Government" and you say Ron Paul is an idiot? The republicans have betrayed us and the democrats have abandoned us, a vote for Ron Paul is a vote for libertarianism and a vote for the freedom of the people of the United States.

  • "good intentions will not solve our problems" classic...

  • If the American electorate system along with the Mainstream Media wasn't so Bias and corrupt this man would've already been elected in 08 and would be ahead in the MSM's "official polls"

  • Yes, John Stossel. I have heard other politicians say they oppose pay raises. And I have also heard you challenge somebody who is defined below the poverty level, asking them "Are you really poor? After all, you have a microwave, don't you?" Well, John, How many microwave ovens do you have, and in how many homes?

  • America is failing because they want it to fail... they want use to solely depend on the government so they have absolute power to do anything they want because guess what? if we are all poor A. we have no money to do anything about it and B. we will be desperate enough to do anything they tell us too.... and nobody realizes once you nationalize something, like healthcare, its not the hypothetical everyone gets the best, its the exact opposite everyone gets the worst.

  • John Stasshole u suck

  • Thumbs up if at 3:00 you thought of Solyndra! Ron Paul predicts everything!

  • stossels getting owned. love it

  • .. americas failing because it isnt ran how it was written to be

  • If Ron Paul becomes President I bet all the eastern countries and organizations who don't like us would eventually catch on and not hate us anymore.

  • This guy is a genius....

  • Greater like/dislike ratio as you watch the later parts of this video. Goes to show you who is actually paying attention.

  • Is this silly reporter supposed to represent the people of America?? The way he asks these questions it's as if he Absolutely thinks we'd die without the government here to help us. What a Tool!

  • @AddictiveKaraoke He's actually a libertarian, similar to Mr. Paul. He believes many of the same things, these questions aren't written by him.

  • You know why he didn't win? The corporations control media, they chose to not let him win. But now that the world is more shitty, which woke more people up... Hopefully he can win this time...

Give me liberty or give me death, right? I'd die for my beliefs.

  • @CntthnkO15 YOu'd die for your beliefs? GOOD! It takes true passion to make real change. But beware of the changers. Ron Paul wants government to turn back the clock to pre-industrial times. His wisdom is ancient, and it will no longer work. Yes, he is bold and unafraid to call out Ben Bernanke, chairman of the Federal Reserve, and others are too, but Ron Paul has a way to get under people's skin, and play the sensationalist. This is his true talent. He is NOT presidential material.

  • @Lengo67 He's not a sensationalist. If he were elected he wouldn't push his beliefs onto others like all elected officials do now. He would uphold the Constitution. People think everything would fall apart without an enormous centralized government but it's not true. The STATES would have the right to make their own laws, therefore not clogging up the system. He'll give us more freedom than some can handle, but that's where you have to be responsible for your own actions. Some don't like that.

  • @IHateNicolasCage And some, if not many, aren't responsible for their actions. They have limited liablity. THAT is built into the corporation.

Times have changed. Social Security is not going to go away, and it too, is broken. It is not security at all. And this 'let the market govern itself' rhetoric is faulty. Laissez-faire already has failed, and it failed terribly during the 'roaring' twenties. Recently, G.W. Bush gave banks less government, and look what happened!

  • "but that's where you have to be responsible for your own actions. Some don't like that." You're damn right. And "the some" are the greedy corporations who want no regulation, so that they can swindle you. The thing a business cares about is making PROFITS! Social and moral responsibility take a back seat. Ron Paul would give them their freedom to exploit, but tells you that the market takes responsibility. It does NOT. People do, but they don't want government to tell them what is responsible

  • @Lengo67 Ancient? Are you fucking shitting me? You want to talk about ancient? Talk about bullshit religion. The constitution is not ancient. Those laws work. Sure some tweaks for the modern age, but they work better then the corrupt bullshit that is now. How does that justify him not presidential material in any way? I don't see the correlation. What I do see is that Ron Paul stands for ACTUAL FREEDOM... So, thanks anyways.

  • Why do we need BOTH a federal and a state government. We need to reduce federal as it is redundant and too monopolistic, authoritarian. It has a bad track record. Empower the people and then empower the states...if something is left over, perhaps a federal can do something.

  • Ron Paul has his head stuck in the 1800s. He wants no regulation of the corporate criminals, who time and again, get the US into trouble, and while they do this, they oppress the work force and steal their homes. Bush deregulated Wall Street and Banking. Look what happened. Ron Paul wants less regulation? He's a damn fool!

  • @Lengo67 Who writes the regulation? Big corporations and banks, that's who. Who wrote the Federal Reserve act? The biggest banking interests in the country at the time (it was sold as "reform"). This isn't capitalism it's corporatism (or proto-facism). Regulation is used primarily for interests at the top to eliminate competition at the bottom. Remember what John D. Rockefeller said: "Competition is a sin." You're the fool if you really believe regulation does any good for you.

  • @thej762000 You are absolutely right. Corporations rule the United States, not the government. They have more money and more power. The governemtn is here to govern. The Corporations want deregulation. They want to govern. They tell you that free enterprise provides mechanics to govern itself. This is false! Free enterprise has constantly stepped over the line, and abused investors and the public. Need evidence? Just look around you. It is everywhere.

  • @Lengo67 True free enterprise has never really been tried. If the market was allowed to regulate itself, especially if it was allowed to set interest rates instead of a central bank, you wouldn't get the boom-bust cycle. Remember, as a capitalist, the thing I'm most afraid of is LOSS. The combine of big business with govt creates institutions that take out the loss part of the equation and put it on the backs of the taxpayer (moral hazard). This is precisely what Ron Paul is against.

  • @thej762000 You're the fool if you believe that corporations should be left alone to govern themselves. They do not govern themselves! Enron got away with swindling people until they got caught. It was good that the government looks over the corporations' shoulders to make sure that they're behaving honestly. Government is suppose to govern! You can't let the corporations govern, or you're asking for trouble. HISTORY DEMONSTRATES THIS, TIME AND AGAIN!

  • @Lengo67 I'd love to go back to 1776. Ron Paul 2012

  • @IHateNicolasCage Well, what's topping you? Have you got a horse and a plow? Have you got neighbors who will help you clear trees off your land to farm it? Have you got a long gun (rifles weren't invented yet) for hunting game? Do you have a horse and buggy to travel dirt roads, which where very few, and most travel was by trail? GO! What's stopping you? Go! Go take the land from the native americans. Go! To the times when slavery was embraced as normal, and a necessary evil. Go. Just go.

  • @Lengo67 What's stopping me is I CAN'T go back to 1776, my flux capacitor is busted.

First: Slavery is awful so don't even start that.

    Second: Here are some things that weren't around in 1776;

The Federal Reserve, Fiat currency, the IRS, the Income Tax, Military Adventurism, The Department of Education/Energy/Homeland Security/ Agriculture etc., The TSA, Keynesian Economics, the lack of understanding of what "blowback" is, Rick Perry, Socialized Medicine, Medicaid, Medicare, $70 Trillion debt

  • @Lengo67 Bush didn't deregulate the banks AS MUCH AS Congress encouraged and LEGISLATED poor investing THROUGH REGULATION. The free market regulates itself. People educate themselves and make informed decisions. Those idiots that make stupid decisions deserve to lose their money when investing. The government shouldn't have to take care of us like we're drooling babies. You want to live in your teens the rest of your life, rather than grow up. Ron Paul wants us to be big kids (and we should be).

  • @dcorton You live in a false reality. Regulation is what governing does! The free market does not regulate itself. There are psychopaths in corporate America, and to let them decide what is right and wrong would be disastrous. They sell you junk food, no? They sell you overpriced and abusively priced medical care, no? And the corporations graduate students from universities (these are corporations) with $30,000+ in debt, and this is just the same as indentureship. Free market? Nothing is free!

  • @Lengo67 Government is supposed to protect liberty or freedom. Freedom for your person, freedom to choose, and freedom to own your property. Regulations do none of those. Regulations take your freedom to choose away. They claim to keep you safe. Apparently you enjoy living in your cage rather than being on the front lines in the war of life. Nanny states are not freer they are safer . . . for some. Regulations are a clear cut sign of a tyrannical state.

  • @Lengo67

freedom is scary, I know, but don't be afraid young one!

  • you need to look at why they've spent more, why they aren't performing. show me your statistics for spending more than any other country. and what the money is spent on. health and learning are a right as much as your "freedom". your education system is fucked because you pay teachers a pittance and anyone whos family can't afford to pay college tuition fees has no real incentive to work hard. stop going to war with poor brown people and you'll have enough money. you already have enough bombs

  • The idea of Paul is to let the STATES and the PEOPLE decide whats for them and keep federal government small, this is not anarchy...stop talking BS...

  • If Ron Paul is elected, he cannot get it done. Congress will stand in his way. Corporate America and fundamentalist Christians will stand in his way. Nobody will cooperate with him! I agree with him on many things, but he is a poor candidate. He will likely stagnate as does Obama, and he will take the rap when fundamentalist, selfish bastards make him look like a fool with their subtle undermining and behind the door threats.

  • @Lengo67 That's where appointments come in. Presidential orders come in. A president signs laws, a president can veto laws. ALL very important powers. So what makes you think the presidential position is not influential?

  • @firestrings272 I didn't say the president isn't influential.

  • Is he running for president??

I wish i was an american so i could vote. Maybe we could stop the NWO.

  • Go Paul. Get some.

  • i liked him until he went on about no state education. or health etc, absolute joke. americas biggest savings are to be found in drug and foreign policies

  • @lawndog6794 Explain why Gov't getting out of education and health wouldn't be a good thing?

  • because private companies are interested in benefitting noone but their shareholders. america is behind the rest of the western world in health and education. free healthcare and education are the first things a citizen should be entitled to. not a gun, a whinge, and a policy of corporate colonialism

  • @lawndog6794 Gov't has proven they can't manage health care or education.... Gov't spends more on both of these than any other country and per capita we have the worst results.... so again, why would you call for more of what hasn't worked???.... Private and Charitable organizations have always outperformed gov't and have been more accountable. No they are not perfect yet the facts show they create much better results. I agree with you about corporate chronyism and corruption tied to Gov't

  • @lawndog6794 Gov't has proven they can't manage health care or education.... • @lawndog6794 Explain why Gov't getting out of education and health wouldn't be a good thing?

  • Dr. Paul talks just like Dr. Milton Friedman. He's got my vote.

  • People are too concerned about foreign products underselling ours. Don't be. If their governments are subsidizing products, they are taxing their citizens and transferring that wealth to our citizens in the form of cheaper products.

  • This is the only politician who has been truthful and consistent his entire time in office, we need to elect him. He will bring the troops home, end the wars, end the drug wars, get rid of the Fed and our flawed fiat monetary policy.

    Ron Paul for President 2012!

  • Israel and her Zionist minions in Washington must be shitting their pants at the prospect of Dr Paul becoming president. For starters they know they can kiss all that free American money goodbye.

  • @glazinq Can you imagine the scrambling Bernanke is doing, funneling money here and there to try and fight the now enlightened public?

If Ron Paul doesn't get through the primaries, WE THE PEOPLE are gonna go down to fort knox and reclaim our gold by FORCE. Then we'll march on over to the Fed and burn the fucking building to the ground. Next come all it's fucking evil usury driven branches... ALL IN FLAMES.

FUCK THAT THE PEOPLE ARE PISSED. WE HAVE THE TRUTH AND NUMBERS ON OUR SIDE.

  • Government brings inefficiency, corruption, and waste to anything they put their fingers in. Looking to them to solve problems is just ludicrous.

  • These religious people are just too stupid. I know more about these bullshitters and their religious beliefs than I need. "God bless America"? Up yours pal, if he exists (god) I can assure you, he does'nt give a crap about your country...grow up and grow a pair!! And most of the politicians actually think its a good thing to be noted for their religion...not at all what your founding fathers had in mind....and for good reason!

  • It's funny to see Stossel play devils advicate in this.

  • I wish a politician like Ron Paul wasn't a rare thing.

  • @LowRoller420 And it's scary because he's getting old and he might not win again next year!

  • @LowRoller420 It's up to the people to get the politicians they want.
