These would all be better with mini-sentries as they are mainly offensive that will be easily killed and a are mainly for quick access to extra shots on players
also, if you want transpoters, but you don't want enimes attacking them, and you want to TRY to win, put them where most people come from when you get central point, then put the teliporter exit right near your window view, just near the friendly doorway ( not to be mistaken for the central point doorway, leading to central point), if a spy does sap it, shoot at him and see if he'll be dumb enough to shoot at you! =P
for the well, I found a better spot for your dispencers and turrets, just put the dispencer behind the middle area right outside your base and next to the containers, put the turret right on top of the trian, package, area, thing! This is excellent if other engie's are with you and they copy you, because yes the enemy can see them, but they really can't attack if your teammates are attacking and they try taking cover in your area of window view! XD
I love to play offensive engie as well. It ticks me off when the other team die by your sentry and call you a noob, or your own team complains that engie is a noob class. It's nice to see a few others having some fun!
May have to try your key set up. Playing with the keyboard annoys me to no end when it comes to doing anything other than WASD+Space (had to move crouch to shift and then get used to my middle finger on W instead of my ring finger).
Still, I don't like having to hit the number keys at all, and having to reach all the way to 8? Ugh, I'll think about it a bit more.
This, by the way, is the reason why I love Starcraft but can't play for shit.
Awesome.

Engies are great, without them TF2 wouldn't be the same. There a lot fun to, especially on granary, add me on steam
