is this the typical working day at goldman sachs as an analyst or associate? or are those just traders? I mean it's horrible to work in a room like this, staring at the monitor all day long. i personally wanted to work at goldman sachs but after seeing this... man i better go to medecine
@deniskatashkentskiy you fail to realise this is the best place to work. You can take 15 minute breaks every hour and your manager doesnt notice. You do nothing all day. Its great.
You can trade equities from 4pm until 8 pm. You can also trade futures and options on the S&P 500 24 hrs of course Monday through Friday. The terminals are Bloomberg. You lease one for about $3,000.00 per quarter. I am a swing trader and I use TD Ameritrade for my stock options trading and use CQG for my S&P futures and options trading. I spend around $1,000.00 per month for all the trading software I use.
whats the software they use on the dealing room traders? is it anything similar to a scottrade or etrade looking account ? i want to learn how to use the dealer room type software. some one tell me ????
