I hope the upcoming gunrunners arsenal dlc for fallout new vegas will include a few of these classics , i have read that the bozar is included , i also must say that for alot of weapons i like these designs better then the fallout 3/fallout new vegas counterparts , i especially like the look of the laser rifle and combat shotgun better in this game !
IMO best weapon is Super Sledgehammer. Yes, it may do less damage than big/energy weapons, and has only 2 range, but the satisfaction you get from pummeling a fu***** deathclaw in the face to death is something that will never beat energy/big guns IMO.
me personally iv got to go with the light support gun because mostly anything i soot gets blown into little bits iv done it with a few deathclaws and on enclave i put them to almost dead in 1-2 bursts
ever took more than 1k hp from a Fallout hostile? I managed, with Vindicator minigun ;] still to me, the Gauss rifle is the best F2 weapon. The best heavy weapon is bozar, the best pistol - .223 pistol.
I like the Bozar better than the Pulse rifle because ammo is more common. Or maybe it's just the fact that I like tearing people apart with burst fire.
@xjod9 Yea my character is a god of burst fire. Both ranks of bonus ranged damage for +4 damage per round living anatomy for another +5 per round Fast shot and bonus rate of fire for minimal AP use and sniper because apparently there was a glitch or something that made every shot a critical I am not really sure. Any way it can pull off 4 burst shots if he has 2 fully loaded P90s equipped.
@MrAwsome514 What I like best is just a good old Sniper/Gauss rifle with 10 agility, level 2 action boy, bonus rate of fire, sniper, and targeted shots to the eyes. Can bring down any enclave trooper easily. The sniper perk works like this: Each point of luck gives you 10% higher chance of a critical hit. The slayer perk (the hand to hand equivalent of sniper) has a glitch that makes every hit a critical hit.
This is a pretty fair list. I'm still divided between the Bozar and the Pusle Rifle, but seeing as how you can aim shots with the YK42B Pulse Rifle, I think I'm leaning towards that. Plus, seeing as how it is FAR more energy efficient, (I don't quite reloading after 2 shots), I think that I'd place it slightly above the Bozar. I wouldn't mind hearing your opinion though. Also, no Super Sledgehammer?
the .223 pistol is taken form Blade Runner (see Deckard's handgun:))

Why did they take some of these weapons out of fallout 3 and new vegas?! They look epic. Hopefully they bring them back in fallout 4!

Vindicator with 9 luck, 20% crit. Chance, and the sniper perk can kill Frank Horrigan in 3 shots or less, and deathclaws in one shot.

@pwnmaster77 a lot of rare ammo (4.7 and Ec is in the radioactive caves and the pulse rifle in bos facility in sf.
