are you playing this with ur rg or ur home made jem...?
btw did you have wiring issues with ur DIY guitar, like a grounding issue? i seem to have one with mine...adding all that split coil stuff made things confusing a little for me... Of course, i got that to work, just have the buzzing when string are not touched......
Are the strings buzzing when you don't make contact with the strings for both in humbucking and single mode? If so, then it may be because your strings aren't grounded, which makes it buzz.
@DUY1337GUITAR it on both humbucking and single coil mode...i grounded my tremolo claw to my ground connection (checked it with a multimeter)...but its not much of a hindrance, since i emulated ur three mini switch configuration, so i can simply turn the pickup off when im done with a certain part...
...Im actually going to make 3 seven string guitars from scratch this spring when it gets hot...wish i ordered basswood instead of mahogany tho>_>...
@DUY1337GUITAR nope... im making one to resemple the ESP STEF-B7, but with a half inch maple top and seymour duncan blackouts... A V-shaped guitar, with 3/8 inch maple top with EMG 707.... and an SG-shaped carved top hollow body (maybe with guitarheads hex 7...active pickups are pricey>_>)... All guitars will be neckthrough...
i wonder how that hollow body will sound with high gain.... the hollow body isnt gonna be as big as regular hollow body sizes...more like PRS hollow body sizes...
@DUY1337GUITAR when you're able to, you should try the hollow body build... but cameras are good too... ima need to get one so i can post up my build on youtube once i start... plan to start somewhere between this month ending and april... depending on school, work, and the weather... was supposed to build my router table this week, but its been raining too much here in georgia...
I was weighing the benefits of both sides, but I think the interface will be better for me because it would have uses when I move away for college. I won't throw away the idea of repainting my RG though.

That's really cool, I was really considering on building a hollow body from scratch.
.......... spent $1000 on a DSLR camera with related gear instead.
