  • Instead of eating out every night, the money he would save by cooking instead would get him a bigger place to live.

  • I could make it work.

  • 800 is cheap

  • Unquestionably, Mini...truly in order to change your mind you have to step outside~

  • Blonde gay Stephen Colbert

  • Youd have to pay ME $800 to live in that closet

  • HAHAHAHA @ 0:44

  • I lived in Stockholm in a similar room a bike's ride from city center for 500$/ Month, My motivation to stay in the city and socialize more.

  • Holy claustrophobia .

  • Right on, I think it's cozy, and, convenient, to be right in town. Are you still living here? I had an apartment just like that for five years. The rent was 500;00 a month, but, the building was super old(antique),no elevator, and not as nice as yours.

  • Still manages to make bed?! Boss.

  • So cute, what a good use of the space he has to work with, even that tiny kitchenette. Adorable! I would live small like this any day to avoid the hassle of roommates and to be right in the center of it all if I wanted to live in the heart of a city like Manhattan.

  • Is this what they mean about being Gay but still in the closet?

  • "out in astoria or something" god save queens :((((

  • $9600 / 55sq.ft. = about $174.60 per square foot.

Average cost of a Manhattan studio = $72.00 per square foot.

For $1600 a month, you could get a real apartment and a gay roommate to split your cost back down to $800/mo.

    WTF WHYYYYYYY?!?

  • @SockPuppetCommentary It depends on where in Manhattan.

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOO WAAAAAAAYYYY

  • Hmm, I wonder if he is gay?

  • @DVDluvr123 he is living in a closet

  • @DVDluvr123 the calendar was a clue... ;D

  • @DVDluvr123 No, those are just "motivation pictures" he uses to keep himself motivated to eat healthy and hit the gym. Nothin gay about that at all. Move along...move along.

  • @TomsFriendKake Did you watch this video!? He is the most obviously gay person I have ever seen.

  • @DVDluvr123 Yes I know he is gay, I was joking. But he is by far not the gayest man. On a scale from 1 to 10 where 1 is a Navy Seal and 10 is a man acting like Kathy Griffin imitating Paris Hilton, he is a 6. Give him a break, let him live. He is probably a really nice guy. At least his flat isn't decorated in pink and sequins and he's not wearing a stupid t-shirt that says "Yes I know I'm a diva."

  • you can just life in a storage area........probably bigger.......

  • 0:46 pokerface.

  • These out-of-towners all want to move to Manhattan at all expense. Doesn't matter that they can get a better and larger apartment in Queens or the Bronx. It's the snob factor. By the way, notice how that guy says that he's from down south, yet he speaks with a snobby New York City accent. He's pulling a Madonna [who went to England and started talking with a British accent] so as to fit in. Heaven's forbid that he stick out amongst his Village friends by speaking with a Southern accent!

  • @Rayarena lol i was thinking the same thing. what's the point of spending 800 a month when you can get a bigger place in brooklyn or something? i gotta move to nyc for a job and i'm definitely not looking at any places in manhattan. oh and i'm keeping my southern accent too! haha

  • @Eternalux You're smart! There are plenty of outlying places--Brooklyn [as you mention], the Bronx & Queens--where rents are cheaper. Nowadays, locations is not that important any more, people are moving to all sorts of places & making the best of it. Besides, if one is so starstruck by Manhattan's glitter, you can get there by subway from any of those boroughs in less than an hour. Oh, & its great that you're keeping your southern accent, southern accents are charming!

  • Nice collection of sneakers.

  • Exposed brick!!! (looking at the glass half full)

  • Lol hipsters.

  • 1 word, hammock...

  • I think what he is doing is awesome, he is in manhattan where he wants to be and no roommates to deal with.

  • I thought it was cute

  • who cares if he's gay...get over it.

  • @eddiecoronado hahha you're funny

  • Yeah, this person is clearly a homosexual.

  • @Tozza89 Astute. Can't put nothin past you.

  • He is cute o.o

  • Makes me miss college. My dorm room was smaller than this.

  • must be cramped as all hell when he brings his boyfriends back with all those shoes getting in the way

  • I'm from the UK, and about 3 years ago I was renting a studio apartment which had 212 sq feet. I got rid of so much junk, and still struggled to fit everything into 212 sq feet. How a human can manage in 55 sq feet is beyond me.

  • I like it. I think it's charming. :)

  • I think he is pretty cute!

  • @phoenix0glance he's gay... i was thinking that and then i saw 0:42, and was like... yep, he's definitely gay

  • $800?! for that rathole?

  • He seems like a very nice man. More power to you!

  • My car is bigger than that place.

  • @DozensOfViewers you have obese car

  • 0:43 GAY

  • @FuckThatShitBitch100 LOL just confirmed any suspicions you may have had huh?

  • the sad thing is that he is lying himself

  • man this fool extra gay, did you see his calender?

  • hi im men 23 im looking just room in manhattan where i should looking for, cause i dont know anybody , there is newspaper ?

  • Even 800 seems high. I know it is Manhattan, but 800, really?

  • LMAO @ 0:42

  • well, all the more reason to go out and meet people/do things.

  • LOL, I like small spaces myself, but this guy is insane. I had a perfectly nice studio apartment in Brooklyn for $700 that had at least 4x the living space, plus a real bathroom and kitchen, and the 30 minute train ride was nothing. And I could still walk to all essential services and some local bars.

  • Cute place. The apartment got a little protencial.

    * Owner should convert the bathroom into a WetBath. Remove door & install accordion door.

    * Convert large widow & place AC way on top & install a widow half its size on the bottom & use rope latter for fire escape through window. It's better then burning alive.

  • Heh, if you think this is cramped, just try Japan. This is pretty standard-sized city living over there.

  • @tzushih probably because tokyo is the biggest city in the world

  • could pass for .travelocity Ad as smallest hotel room is history.lol

  • Crazy. Id get cabin fever.

  • Just taking a wild guess..ya think this guy is gay?

  • @sblizzy Jeez what would make you think that.

  • yes, did u seee his magazine and calander?? he's definitely gay

  • Your perceptive. I was just judging by his mannerisms.

  • @sblizzy go to 43 theres a calendar that will give you the answer

  • @sblizzy So? What's your point?

  • @mad4umaddy No point...Just an observation....Im from a small town myself...

  • It is actually illegal to lease anyone an apartment under 110 Sq.Ft in New York.

  • I don't believe you.

  • its a fucking bedsit!!!!!

  • Having a lot of space is overrated. I like this space for some odd reason.

  • That's practically a jail cell.

  • Awesome Place!!!
