Does anyone have any idea what guitar pickups Kirk Hamment used on this album? I've read that he uses EMG's, but I'm not sure. I want to know because I like the lead guitar sound on this album and I would like to be able to sound like that myself. Thank you!

@Georgio448 Umm im also not to sure either about this album's equipment either. but from what i do know kirk uses emg 81's, for the settings on your amp, low and high just one above half and the mid all the way down off. kirk loved the wah pedal so have one plugged in and on the down position and mt-2 boss pedal with an rv-5 pedal. i forget the settings on the rv-5 though:/

@Georgio448 I don't know about the pickups. I do know he used a Gibson Flying V. Also, it sounds like a lot of low-mid treble, with the high treble rolled off, bass boosted, and mids turned all the way off. Maybe add some low mids. And a tube amp or Tube Screamer pedal might help too.
