My uncle had Whopping cough as a kid & it permanently damaged his brain, unfortunately, but this isn't the "norm". Here in Canada there are outbreaks here where I live & my son hasn't had all the DPT shots (missing the one they are supposed to get between 4-6. He's almost 6, I homeschool him, already sure he has Autism, so no more shots b/c it's hard enough as is...but I have lots of people who try to guilt me & put fear in me to make me change my mind. There is an "outbreak" of whooping cough going around in Wisconsin right now and they are saying that children are getting it because some parents are refusing to vaccinate..WHY is it always easy to blame the unvaccinated children when 9 times out of 10 none of them are sick..the thing that I find funny about this recent "outbreak" is that in july and august of this year there were reports on the news about 1000s of kids getting the vaccine before school started coincidence..i think not

Pt 3. If a child can get Measles 3 times how can an innoculation protect against it? Having the disease is meant to give a stronger immunity than a vaccine. Years ago if someones kid had something lie chicken pox we would have a party so all the kids caught it and got it over with. Good nursing by Mum will get most kids through any childhood illness, keeping them cool and quiet and plenty of fluids and some paracetamol to help bring fever down.

Pt 2. I know 1 9 year old who has never had a vaccination in his life who is as strong as an ox and a 3 year old the same. Although I believe some vaccines are wise, vaccines against normal childhood illnesses are not. Childhood illnesses such as measles, Mumps, chicken pox, whooping cough and German measles are the way a childs immune system learns to work, if you vaccinate against everything you get a weak immune system.
