@2wayfreq, no he had to climb to not be a threat of other planes taking off. He missed his approach so he had to climb and go around and try again...... Sorry but he is not that bad of a pilot to miss the runway from that far...:)

It can be because there were other planes landing on the runway so you plane had to circle around and wait until they were cleared to land

not neccesarily, that probably meant either he was burning off fuel or he had to get the green light to land, there are many more scenarios on why your plane circled the airport for 15 mnts

Aircraft are not allowed to fly over New York City, that is the law. The reality is they fly over the western half of Manhattan every single day, and "the powers that be" have them do it to continue to provoke fear into the hearts of people so they can continue their unjust war against the middle east.

it was a usair not us airways. it was the old us airways with a different fleet and livery. i took one of these 2 vegas in 2003. these planes for usair dont exist anymore, so we are lucky. usair doesn't exist anymore!

yes there is such thing as a 100 but it was almost entirely unsuccessful and boeing almost cancelled the 737 series until they released the 200.
