I had the privledge to hear Mr. McNary speak at our AFSCME Illinois Convention this morning in Springfield. He speaks the truths and is very motivational.

It never fails to amaze me how so many people have been brainwashed by the political system into believing exactly the opposite of what they are instructed by their religious system. "I am my brother's keeper" is a laughable principle for a capitalist and yet it is at the core of the values of a decent and caring society.

Oh, I'm aware of the potential pitfalls of a government run health care system.

Oh, I'm aware of the potential road to socialism. But mostly,

Oh, how I wish I was still in the position to have the luxury to hold those concerns.

I'm not all that bad off, as I live in a state that has an option for folks like me, who after 35 years with the same insurance, was forced to make an adjustment.

Geez, I hope he lives to enjoys the $73M parachute. Cause you can't take it with ya.
