Totally! 3D doesn't work, especially for us one eyed people. I love Aliens and Terminator, but this guy is kinda a pompous ass. A lot of his movies have a preachy message and are always at least 30 minutes too long. And think about this: this dude is articulate, driven, idealistic, and seemingly charming in interviews- The perfect recipe for a tyrannical facist! I hope this Avatar thing is good though 'cause I love the cartoon on Nickolodean! (Ha Ha Ha!!!)

If you read more interviews about his ideas on 3D films you'll relise that he doesn't think 3D will make a film better, it's just a different way to shoot and watch a film. He actually stated that a lot of 3D films are marketed as a 3D adventure or whatever but they're not good at all. What he wants to do is create a new experience that you can only get in theatres.

I think Cameron's idea is to incorporate 3D capabilities into as many cinemas as possible. Empire had an article about it that's why the release date has been put so far back, to allow cinemas to install the new projectors. I guess all we can is wait, and wait, and wait! lol.
