  • That's a proud ride bro. So far you have the most awesome gt I've seen. Plus I like red.

  • @maldog1088 Thanks for the kudos!

  • Wow your Mustang is awesome I am curious to how much did all this cost you to hook this beast up? Oh and sorry I did not hear it clear what was the radar name?

  • @RJC405 Thanks! Radar is a Escort Solo S2 cordless. Cost of mods? Way too much.

  • how big is the gap between the stripes?

  • @Guitargod4221 2 inch gap

  • Talk about mutha fuckin custom, damn im jealous

  • Dude I drive by your mustang almost every day. I need some real challenge for mine. We need to race!

  • hey tacobill, i want my mustang to sound like yours, but i was gonna get ford racing camshafts, an edlebrock e force supercharger, borla xr1 long tube headers, a gt500kr h pipe and borla stingers catback. would it be similiar or would the air flow change it up a lot?

  • @zx2escortt also, whats your mpg like? do you mostly go on the highway or city? and are you heavy footed like me? thanks a bunch bill!

  • @zx2escortt Get around 18 to 20 mpg, mix of city and hwy. Only heavy footed around Camaros and Challengers. lol

  • @zx2escortt That combo should sound good. I've since removed the O/R-H pipe and re-installed the factory H-Pipe.

  • more videos!! of your bas ass car!

  • Beast car. Nice section of mods. I really like the exhaust.

  • hey taco, where did you get the spoiler chin? is it poly urethane?

  • @capulina111 Spoiler is from CDC (Classic Design Concepts). Not sure what it's made of, but it does have some flex to it.

  • Dude!! No cupholders!!?? jesus whats the world coming to!! haha jk,sweet mustang bro! your cars hella badass!

  • How many horses is it putting out now about?

  • No lie ur car is bad ass haha how long did all these mods take haha

  • Very nice Mustang! Thumps Up

  • Where did you get the raptor shift light and the kit to put it in at? I wanna do the same raptor setup but cant find it anywhere!

  • @gttrigger91 You can get the Raptor from their website. As for the mount, it's from PMP, but last I heard, they stopped producing that billet mount. You can try and contact them for more info.

  • i want some shelby razor rims but i want to set the gt500 brembo big brakes on it. any idea if itll fit either the 18 or 20 inch razors?

  • @zx2escortt They'll fit the 20 inch Razors. Pass on the 18 Razors, for some reason, Razors look goofy in 18.. trust me.

  • @TacoBill35 is the ride still comfortable with the 20s?

  • @zx2escortt Surprisingly, yes.. not bad at all.

  • @TacoBill35 awsome! will the brakes work with 40mm off set or do you need 24 off set? also i heard the 20" rims affect performance a little? if thats true how much does it hurt?

  • @zx2escortt Yes, big brakes work with the 40mm offset. I only chose the 24mm because I wanted the tires to be in line with the fender lip, not tucked in like the stock look, just personal preference.

I've heard the same thing about 20's affecting performance, but for the everyday street driver, it's nil. Perhaps on the high end of racing, it makes a difference, but not for us street guys.

  • @TacoBill35 awsome thank you so much for answering my questions tacobill! i appreciate it a lot. my stang is going to be a little bit of everything. daily driver, show car, and track car. i just hope one day it will look as much of a monster as yours!

  • where did you get the rear carmera from???

  • @stangdude360rs Got off ebay.. Lots of bullet style cams available.

  • @TacoBill35 thanks and nice car btw ive been following your vids from day 1 lol

  • @stangdude360rs Thanks bro.. handed the GT over to my son now, it's all his.

  • Comment removed

  • @TacoBill35 oh really?? my son wants a 07 gt in red but what are you gunna get a new mustang ??

  • @stangdude360rs lol... that remains to be seen.

  • @TacoBill35 hahah cant wait to see that

  • Nice stang bro! i have a question for you tho, other than red what would be a nice sporty lookin color ? because of insurance, im 16 and looking into getting one of these so reply it would help hah but yeah nice mustang !!

  • @TheNextJeneration Thanks! To be honest, get the color you want. It's going to be your car, your color choice, make it yours.

  • Damn nice ass stang.

  • Great video! Very descriptive and your cameraman is actually really good too haha. Amazing car man I hope to own a 05-09 some day. I have my 02 GT for now though :D

  • @Mark37251 Thank you!

  • @TacoBill35 No no, thank you! Really, car's like yours give me something to look forward to :)

  • hey man i love your it looks and sound great, if you do not mind asking with non intercooled supercharger how much did you gain? thanks

  • @bmlaabul Stock is around 270 rwhp, I put down 401 rwhp on a Dynojet.

  • how much would say was everything here. including the car.

  • @RichRandom My GT in 2006 was around $29k, plus and easy $15k in additional mods.

  • sweet ride. im looking at getting one myself. what did that vortech kit run you?

  • @ballinonabudget Expect to pay around 4-5k... thanks for the kudos!

  • must have that supercharger!

  • Thanks again for showing us your ride Taco, hey I remember once you said that you were going after the 2003-2004 Cobra Terminator, well if I was correct, let us know once you get it, I would love to see your first day at the agency with one of those. Well back than we did not here about the new 5.0. lol =D

  • do you have lowering springs or stock springs in this video? im about to put some 20 inch chrome bullitts on my 06 gt.

  • @greenstangboi1 Steeda Ultralite lowering springs installed, stock dampeners.

  • I have an 07 roushcharged stang

  • @Laidoutbug Good for you.

  • Hi Taco, Im gonna get those K&N breather 's for the covers. what is the part number? also i have a K&N CAI what do i do with the holes on the intake tube where the tubes where from the covers? please help. :) the reason i want to do this like you have is i found a trace of oil in my intake manifold. thanks

    -Mark

  • @megalamark Hi Mark. 1 of: K&N 62-1340 Vent Filter and 1 of: K&N 62-1320 Vent Filters. They're 2 different sizes so it's obvious which one goes on which side. Both the intake tube and the intake manifold where the 2 vent hoses must be plugged. I bought a set of various black rubber plugs from Autozone.

  • @TacoBill35 Thank you! :) im looking forward to not having oil in my intake manifold and lowering my octane level and not making my vales dirty. maybe i might pick up some mpg who knows :)

  • God that car is nice

  • @Laidoutbug Thank you!

  • bad ass ride!!!!!

  • @bighappy1989 Thanks man!

  • Did you have to do any fabrication when installing the shift light?

  • @sakelch No.. only pain was to remove the power port. The company no longer makes that billet shift light bezel from my understanding.

  • Did you have to do any fabrication when installing the shift light?

  • where did you get the rear view camera?

  • @ReviewItUp Off ebay.. it's a Lorex bullet camera.

  • Nice car, I'v been watching your vids and they're great. How old is your son btw and if your giving your show car to him, won't it become a DD? I love the shift light/placement and i own a 05 gt lightly modded/exterior, age 17. After reading all the comments, is your son truly getting all the girls/pussy? heheh its just a car afterall (a clean/beautiful one!)

  • Bad ass car, excellent walkaround, I guess you have made my day sir!

  • im getting an 06 gt hopefully by this week. i love both the new models and the 05-09. damn man i really cannot wait and modify it with that same body kit and add engine mods to give me blue balls.

  • if i had this car i would be so freaking happy!

  • Are you planning on getting any aftermarket sway bars for her, or are you done with the upgrades?

  • @Adam9541 All done with mods.. just enjoying it now.

  • Are you planning on getting any aftermarket sway bars for her, or are you done with the upgrades?

  • @Adam9541 Only suspension mods I have are the Steeda Ultralite springs and the the billet LCA's. All done with mods. lol

  • Taco Bill do you have any problems with water getting into your shaker hood?

  • @cartman934life Not driven in the rain. But I have a couple friends with the Shaker hood like mine and they have no problems, even through the carwash.

  • beautiful car man alotof respect im starting to do work to my 01 v6 that i got frommy parents

  • @krzydude94 Thanks man, appreciate it. Have fun modding your 01, you'll have fun with it.

  • Taco Bill did you only upgrade the front brakes to 14 in and leave the rear stock ? Cool ride do you still go to the local Mustang car shows? would love to see youre ride in person.

  • @supersako69 Yes, only upgraded the front brakes. Not really attending shows anymore.

  • ur teasing me man. and borla stingers? i need a job...

  • so u got like 20 lbs extra on your stang just in dressup? I wouldn't do that

  • your car is just awesome man! very great work and its very clean! i cant wait to start modifying my car!

  • Fuck you lote1234567891011, you obviously can't appreciate a masterpiece & it's creator. This GT is King! Just respect that Tacobill knows his shit!

  • @IKiNGKiDDI i was not serious , i apreciate bill's mustang more than you think, again it was a joke

  • shoyldnt he be having honda lol

  • Hey tacobill! Dude I remember watching your original posts like 3 years ago & I said to myself this is the sickest Gt I've seen. Myself, I'm into camaro's so I bought a 98 SS, & now that I'm looking at another auto purchase, i was undecided if I wanted a Gt... After this video, u just confirmed my next purchase! Thanks!

  • @IKiNGKiDDI Thanks for the kudos! I appreciate it!

  • very nice

  • i like it :))

  • Hey Bill, where did you relocate the PS reservoir when you installed the Supercharger? I had to relocate to the left of the radiator which prevents me from using the aftermarket radiator cover with the extension pieces on each side. Also, did that cover come painted or did you paint it? Awesome car, my 06 is getting there.

  • @dtekavec I got a Canton PS reservior made for the SN95 and relocated it to the passenger side strut tower. The hoses had to be extended to reach that location.

My radiator shroud and extensions came prepainted from Midwest Auto.

  • lol... good shit man. car sounds and looks great. hey i have bbk shorties and notice a power increase, your getting something out of them.

  • very very ending epic win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • It doesn't have to be at the track..

  • @TheMrhoneycutt LMAO!

  • That is a a gorgeous Mustang!Looks like you have a good amount of money in it!How much do you put down?

Another thing when I get my V6 Finished you wanna run em?

  • @TheMrhoneycutt Thanks! Around 400 to the wheels. LOL on the race, I'm not really into running at the track.

  • one of the best looking mustang..clean!

  • love it.

  • Beautiful car man. Not normaly a fan of hood scoops, but the shaker hood is pretty legit. Is the 24mm offset part of the rims? I hate the fact that the stock rims sit so far inside the wheel wells. Im guessing you had to go ahead and get an adjustable pan-hard bar to center the rear axle that percisely? Im just starting on the modification road on my 05 GT. Other than the CAI+Tuner and the supercharger, what do you think made the biggest acceleration difference?

  • @chicogotgreen Yes, the +24 mm offset is the wheel. Stock is +40mm which tucks the wheel into the wheel well.

I opted not to use an adj PHB. It's only off by maybe 1/3", not noticable unless you're looking for it.

Gears are a good bang for the buck.

  • I am so jealous of this epic Mustang! (Btw, my name is just a coincidence.) What HP numbers are you running on this beast?

  • @tacomanfan344 Thanks! Around 400 to the wheels.

  • AMAZING AMAZING ride bro, i love it, i think a hurst shifter may look really nice inside but non the less its still awesome, how much of the work did you do yourself?

  • @biffnacid Thanks! Everything except for the gears, supercharger, and forged motor.

  • hey men .... and truly wonderful your Mustang GT!

    Fantastic! ;-)

  • Awesome mustang. I just got a 95 mustang today. its my first car. I like the camera you got back there too. 5 stars.

  • @iGatorNation Thanks!

  • @megalamark Check PM.

  • No, the CMDP's are not smog legal. A custom tune will be required when running the delete plates.

As for smog, yes, you can re-install the OEM charge motion plates (then flash back to the stock tune), or if your tuner has an 'emission' tune, you can leave the CMDP's in.

Same applies to the O/R-H, but will fail any visual inspections due to no cats.

  • Where did you get the rear view camera? That is an amazing place to put it. BTW, BEAUTIFUL mustang!

  • I bought it off ebay, it's a Lorex bullet color camera. They don't make that model any longer, but any bullet cam with the same diameter capable of running off 12V should work.

  • So do you have the stinger cat back or axle back?

  • axle-backs.

  • I would imagine this car could smoke any stock GT500 SHELBY. I'd imagine a total cost of 10,000$ mods or so?

Cheaper than a Shelby though..? Plus its unique looking.

    VERY NICE CAR REGARDLESS!!!!

  • @adkos79 Thanks!

Haven't taken it to the track yet. My friends keep bugging me to take it. lol

The Stingers provide the low exhaust note, the O/R-H amplifies it by 10x. haha

  • Hey TacoBill,

Thanks for all you do for the Mustang hobby; I was just wondering if I could get some feed back regarding the Brenspeed non intercooled Vortech.

  • I like the Vortech. Main reason I got it was because I wanted to keep the Shaker setup. Though it just provides cool air into the engine bay, I do like the way it looks.

Performance wise, at ~400rwhp, it has plenty of power.

That said, if not for the Shaker, I would have gotten a twinscrew blower.

  • where did you get the rocker panel stripes from?

  • Custom made by a graphics company. A guy from the forum set it up a couple years ago, limited run, he's out now.

  • You've got a great car there TacoBill. I cant wait until I can make enough money to start doing all kinds of mods like that to my gt. How much did you end up spending all the way around?

  • Well into the thousands.. like deep. lol

Take your modding one step at a time. Just decide if you want to to start with the cosmetic or performance side first.

Check out the Forums, lots of help there in decidingabout your mods.

  • @TacoBill35

Yeah, i know what you mean. thanks for the info, btw, you are definitely one of the major reasons i got a mustang in the first place.

  • nice car but i mean, shelby wheels?saleen breaks?its suppose to be a gt not some wanna be thing u will never get your money back cause everybody has a stang

  • I like the wheels, got a great deal on the brakes, not trying to turn my car into something it's not.

  • if, and only if bill wants to sell this car, it would be worth clear into the 60k range, regardless of mileage

  • 60k?your serious?i can go buy a shelby cheeper and it will look just as mean, fast and still have better value in 20 years

  • yes that may be true, but this car has been built ground up and is a one of a kind vehicle, its worth a lot more than a shelby kr

  • Too kind ADDoi!

Seriously guys, I modded this car to give to my son for him to keep for a long time. I didn't do it to replicate another model, but rather pick and chose the mods to my liking.

I dont post my Mustang videos looking for public acceptance, only to share what I've done to it and share some experiences.

  • your son is very lucky to have a chance to work with you and to see what it was like, and it turned out very nice, but boy do parts cost a lot nowadays, you must have ran into 5 digits, i know i did haha

  • @ADD8oi 60k? Thats just silly. Buy yourself a mustang and decide what you want on it and buy it yourself and you can make a quicker car than this one for that. And then you have what any real performance enthusiasts wants, a car THEY have custom built, with all the parts THEY want. Thats half the fun of modified cars is being able to buy something and watch it progress, not pay for someone elses work.

On that note though, beautiful car Tacobill, Hope to get my car there eventually.

  • @chicogotgreen buddy my comment was in response to the person who was talkin about buyin this, i said itd be very expensive and that he should buy his own car and build it up to his own liking, please dont reply to comments out of context, now i know bill wouldnt sell his car because its like another child, at least thats what my car is like to me, too much time and effort went into these beauts to put a numerical sale value on

  • @ADD8oi Sorry, I may have been wrong about who it was that was talking about buying Bill's car. And sorry, but the sad truth is that modified cars do not hold half the value of the mods you put in. In most cases, you will have trouble selling a heavily modified car for much more than %50 over the resale value for the stock car, if even that. And I wouldnt even pay that much, i would rather spend twice the money and do all the work myself. :) Wasnt trying to be an ass.

  • @chicogotgreen no its all right, and you are correct too, but i have seen custom built cars for 2-3x the stock price, and i completely agree with you, making a car your own truly

  • IDk.. you told me this thing only makes 400HP to the wheels... thats kinda disappointing.. i could make that with bolt-ons for cheaper.. im assuming this is a show car..

  • @xmodrock The hp is on par for a non-cooled supercharger. It would've been a tad more if I were running the stock compression pistons.

Not saying it can't be done, but I haven't seen too many people putting down 400 with bolt-ons on a stock 4.6 3V.

  • stage 4 cams, tune, Kooks headers, rest 3" borla exhaust, 4.10 gears, pully, twin 62mm Throttle body as well as a performance intake manifold and then you got 400HP..

  • very nice now all you need is a quality front strut bar

  • @jlubez Can't do it.. I have the Shaker in the way. lol

  • hey ! i ave the same tires on my 06 gt : D haha good tires man..

what tune you think i should get ? i have it on sct fully chipped out etc.

im trying to make mystang aloot faster.

    need some adviceeee!

  • There are several tuners that can e-mail you a great tune for your SCT.. Brenspeed, BamaChips, and Tillman Speed are just a few.

  • nice ride...you did a great job man...good luck! Maybe this vid will shut up the tools that said you didnt do any real mods!!! good luck!!!!!

  • I love your car so much man, I wish I had the kind of money....til then I got to stick with my Scion tC....and also, nice to see that you got a manual unlock half of these people with the automatics...

  • you put a great amount of work in your car, its amazing man, great job, you kept the classic muscle look too

  • Hi, I'm surprised you don't have the CHE K member brace with torque limiters, it makes a big difference when shifting.

  • I thought about it a while back, but decided to just go with the Prothanes. I know the K member and brace tightens things up alot, but I'm good with what I have.

  • Brilliant video mann

  • When you installed the lowering springs how did you fix the negative camber up front? Did you buy some camber plates or the cam adjusting bolts?

  • With the Steeda Ultralites, no camber bolts were required. My alignment guy was able to adjust it withing specs.

  • with forget internals you should run way more than 8psi and if it would be intercooler much better...more boost more power...beatiful car man take care

  • Thanks.. Without an IC, 8 psi is the most recommended by my tuner. Any higher, the IAT would be too high and things get ugly from there. lol

  • how much power is your car making??

  • Right around 400 to the wheels.

  • Epic finish man, I love it! Btw, my username is just by coincidence! ;) Love the car.

  • Thanks Bill, brilliant run down. That blower sounds sweet.

  • Where did u find that third brake light decal?

  • Some guy on bay from Canada was selling them a while back, .. check them out.

  • Man, we have A LOT of the same mods. I went with the Whipple HO. Check out my vid of my car idling. I wish I would have described the mods like you did, because there is a lot of stuff you can't see. (Prothanes, SPEC, etc.) I'll have to make another video. Awesome car, man!

  • wow dude awsome man. my cusion has a elmers bodykit on his mustang and pushing 538 horsepower under the hood with 20inch bbs rims

  • Nice ride man.

You forgot the strut tower covers :D

Time to throw an intercooler on there and a tiny pulley.

  • Thanks!

Yes, you're right, forgot to mention the MWAG strut covers.. og well, no more editing. lol

IC.. forget it, already dumped too much money into this thing, and to me, it's quick enough.

  • Where did you buy that rear cam. I love you car!

  • Rear cam is from Lorex. I got it off ebay for around $100.

  • Great Car and a great Video

    Thanks

  • just watched the rest of the vid. you have nearly zero suspension mods dude. Hotchkis 4/3 adjustable sways, relocation brackets, poly upper CA, GT500 control arms w/ steeda X5 balljoints, bumpsteer kit. many, many more mods and the most fun...suspension mods.

  • I hear what you're saying, and I'm aware of the suspension mods you mentioned. But honestly, it handles just fine for my type of driving.

If I frequent the canyons or the auto-x track, that would be a different story.

  • Yep, just a thought. I've sure had a lot of fun upgrading my suspension components. Awesome stang you have there!

  • Hate to ruin your "done" vid but insert some clear corners in there Bill. NOW it's perfect! I just hate those amber corners.

  • Clear corners work for just about every color Mustang besides Torch Red IMO. I have several 'clear' Mustang guys tell me the same thing.

  • Tahnks Bill, like always, a nice Vid.
