@TheRealmsOfGold actually this country isnt a democracy, its a republic. if it were a democracy, the citizens would vote on every bill or bit of legislation that is up for vote, whereas a republic uses elected officials to represent the people and vote for them.

Makes me wonder why we haven't instituted true democracy yet. I don't think it's the best solution, necessarily. But nowadays, with computerized voting, it's logistically possible for the first time in history.

That's a tub base. Got a big ol aluminum or metal tub at the bottom with a good size string attached to it. Pulling on the lever raises and lowers the pitch of the string.
