Seriously... You have to pay $200 to register an SBR, assuming that the police chief will sign it off for you. That is half of a Kel Tec Sub 2000... It takes the same mags, and you don't have to register anything, because it's not an sbr... So how does this thing even make sense?
kind of a lot of crap for just 10 rounds though. Why would u make a concealable weapon that has limited round capacity and make it as flashy as possible.
@75Kernal. I use to be a HK guy and let me tell you the first time I got my hands on my glock. I saw that there's nothing better than a glock in accuracy and reliability. I trust my life to my glock 100%.
@GunWebsites I'm sorry but I have to disagree, Airsoft guns are not toys. I can easily upgrade any gun to be shooting well over 600 FPS. If not taken seriously you could easily seriously injure or even kill someone.
@dapa4 You can take the rubber suction cap off the end of a child’s bow and arrow set and possibly injure someone but this doesn’t change the fact that it is a toy! If you want to play with the real thing, grow a pair and enlist.
@yaptsa6616 it has a small rail at the front and a carrying handle which I assume you can get an attachment for which would enable you to attach something.
@BillionNames um the purpose of this attachment is to allow the user to have more than one point of contact on the pistol and so make firing easier and increase accuracy.... like it says it effectively makes a carbine that can be reconverted into a pistol.
@BillionNames Go to a range and actually try shooting a real hand gun. It will soon become apparent why the carbine attachment is so beneficial. In the 'old west' they used revolvers not pistols. Sniper rifles are completely different to carbines. Rifles are long barrelled stand off weapons while carbines are relatively short barrelled close combat assault weapons.
A few of my friends have these, 2 say they are worthless, and three say that they work great. They all have the same Roni model on the Glock 17. For those of you who have actually used one of these carbine kits, what would you recommend for me
@Duckyistrippin Does it really matter? Honestly, you're talking about an unsustainable society and loss of rights in the comment section of a video about the attachment for a glock. Most of us came here to see the glock attachment, and consider purchasing and registering such an item. There are other places on the internet to bicker about things such as corporate control of the media and all that, and they're called forums. Please, find a forum, and go nuts with your opinions and banter.
How safe will this be to carry in a sling? Without a safety I image it'd be easy to have an accidental discharge. Perhaps carry without a round in the chamber would be advised.
@nasanasa3 In a holster? Pretty damn safe because the holster covers the trigger fairly soundly. I've never heard of an accidental discharge from a holster but it's not hard to imagine a piece of cloth bunching up and getting into the trigger guard and actuating the trigger. With all due respect I believe this is a magnificent device but a word of caution while leaving this one hanging from a sling. Especially if your hands are preoccupied with other work.
I've seen a lot of these 'carbine' systems pop up in the market lately but I haven't seen anyone shoot with one and I think it's because of the price tag.
Two questions:
Why are these so pricey?
Would it still be possible for a silencer to be used with a carbine conversion?
@TheNERFDUDE97 Single action you have to pull the hammer back for each shot, double action you only need to pull the trigger for the hammer to go back. (For revolvers)
For a Semi Automatic pistol it means that when the hammer is not cocked you can pull the trigger and it will cock and fire the pistol. you do not have to cock and fire the pistol with the trigger for every shot because the slide cocks the hammer when it cycles.
sum1 enlighten me cause i dont see a market of sandwiching a pistol in tactical garb and spending another 2 hundi on a tax stamp just to be legal? not to mention the cost of the plastic lunchbox. its still a pistol round, lol. its like driving a 4 or 6 cylinder car and wrappin a muscle car body around it. looks the part but still has no balls..
Try hitting a 12" plate at 50 or 60 yards with a pistol everytime. Probably can't do it. Attach a stock, foregrip and some type of sight and I bet you'd do a lot better. If you think a 9mm, .40 or .45 won't have an effect at 50 yards, by all means feel free to test out that theory.
@manuelcardenas77 for fun?? like most add-ons are or maybe its to steady it for slightly longer shots theres lots of purposes or maybe its for law enforcement you dont always need a purpose to own a firearm or firearm addon
My guess is that like your mobile phone, you might want a nice looking skin on it or on your hand a ring. This attachment must of been made to make some functions as steadiness a lot better or just to make it look nice.
So, we ban the ATF right along with every other unconstitutional and illegal alphabet agency, and get our republic back. STOP SUCKING ON THE TIT OF THE NWO. End the FED and the IRS...and definitely the BATF-E criminals who are all guilty of hostile actions against our sovereign people.
Why do you need a tax stamp from atf its just a stock to give you more control of you pistol it adds no power and doesnt extend you barrel length it makes no sence?
@plude220 Because the ATF has to enforce the laws set by congress, and congress declared in the National Firearms Act a short barreled rifle is "any firearm with a buttstock and a rifled barrel under 16 inxhes, or an overall length under 26 inches". So adding a stock to a pistol would make it an SBR, and you need a tax stamp to own an SBR.
@GunWebsites I went to a gun show and saw somthing that was this idea but looked different.I prefer they would make one for the Beretta M92 FS sence cops use those alot.

@chan0chap A stock always increases accuracy. The more stable the platform, the more chances of putting shots on paper and doing it faster. I have a model 27 and I just bought some of the new hi cap .40 mags that Glock has put out, and thought to myself that this thing would be a beast with a stock and foregrip.
unfortunatly MOST gun laws and terminology are made up by idiotic politicians and govt agents who get off on power trips-gun laws never effect criminals, they only effect law abiding citizens!
The hassle of time and expense getting the $200tax stamp, $379 for the *accessory* itself.... So after tax I spend over $600 and for what? Additional weight for a supposed rifle with the accuracy of a standard Glock?
Laser rail? Std Glock. Light attachment? Std Glock . Sling attachment? That's what a holster is for. Butt Stock? It's called your arm. Eh, I don't get it.
Fine then, I'm wrong. Wrong wrong wrong. A pistol with a stock is a rifle. A rifle without a stock is a rifle. A shotgun with a rifled barrel is a rifle. A rifle is a rifle. I'm sick of people commenting on my comments with mean-spirited BS and getting automated emails about it. In the future: it'll do you good to know that you can more easily teach someone something by explaining it than by spouting off how they're an idiot. Try that sometime.
@RevolverPhantom You are indeed wrong...and smug. So much for avoiding on-line arguments!
Legal classifications for firearms are not generally based upon the ammo they fire. Generally legal alteration of a firearm will lead to a classification of AOW (any other weapon) or SBR (short barreled rifle). It depends on what you build. It can also be a total pain in the ass to do this as it depends on BATFE and local law enforcement approval.
@TheBaldBastid you are indeed correct just look at all the .30-06, .223, and .308 pistols that are classified as class 2 firearms A.K.A handguns and oh yes the 9mm luger ar-15s the 44 mag. lever actions that are classified as class 1 A.K.A rifles
@TheBaldBastid you are indeed correct just look at all the .30-06, .223, and .308 pistols that are classified as class 2 firearms A.K.A handguns and oh yes the 9mm luger ar-15s 44 mag lever actions that are classified as class 1 A.K.A rifles
@RevolverPhantom no you are wrong cause this is a carbine kit for the glock and a carbine shoots pistol rounds and not rifle rounds and a rifle with out a stock is a combat rifle and a shotty with a rifled barrle is still a shotty so there your wrong and i did it politly so there
@RevolverPhantom a shortened rifle is a carbine and a stockless rifle under nine inches is a hangun and a rifled shotgun is a slug gun im a liberal and i knew that
@masterofnotmuch because the glock has a short barrel if you put a 16 inch barrel in it then you wouldnt need the tax stamp ,that is if it meets the overall legal length
@gunslinger5854 in the video when he mentioned the "$200 tax with the firearms serial number" he was referring to the paper work filed with the ATF to register the firearm as a short barreled rifle or "SBR". a completely legal thing to do and, a completely legal modification if the correct legal procedures are followed. the process for buying a suppressor is similar.
...Why?
Seriously... You have to pay $200 to register an SBR, assuming that the police chief will sign it off for you. That is half of a Kel Tec Sub 2000... It takes the same mags, and you don't have to register anything, because it's not an sbr... So how does this thing even make sense?

Fine then, I'm wrong. Wrong wrong wrong. A pistol with a stock is a rifle. A rifle without a stock is a rifle. A shotgun with a rifled barrel is a rifle. A rifle is a rifle. I'm sick of people commenting on my comments with mean-spirited BS and getting automated emails about it. In the future: it'll do you good to know that you can more easily teach someone something by explaining it than by spouting off how they're an idiot. Try that sometime.

@RevolverPhantom
?? your original comment:
"Well, that's NOT what it is. It's not a "short-barreled rifle" because it doesn't fire a rifle cartridge...."
You are not really asking a polite question here, you are asserting that your 'made up' classification system should apply to what we say in our vids
I suspect if you would have been less rude the responses would be too

@GunWebsites it is a short barrel rifle. any weapon with a shoulder stock and barrel less than 16 inches is considered an SBR.
meifert2 1 year ago
@meifert2 not a SBR class 3 is for the fore grip i looked up the class 3 guns and a pistol with a fore grip is a class 3 firearm
masterofnotmuch 1 year ago
@meifert2 well it's a Any Other Weapon (AOW) category firearm and subject to registration and taxation
masterofnotmuch 1 year ago
@GunWebsites Oh? What does an Uzi fire? 9mm. You can only buy the long barrel one because it is a SBR.

Isn't putting a stock on a pistol illegal? i might be crazy but i think that its a felony. Does any one know?
spartan91222 8 months ago
@spartan91222 perhaps you should first listen to videos before asking questions about what was clearly stated

@masterofnotmuch because the glock has a short barrel if you put a 16 inch barrel in it then you wouldnt need the tax stamp ,that is if it meets the overall legal length

i could buy another glock and more for the price of this 1 thing

.....my only question is.........why?? o_O
eatmytool1 1 year ago
@gunslinger5854 in the video when he mentioned the "$200 tax with the firearms serial number" he was referring to the paper work filed with the ATF to register the firearm as a short barreled rifle or "SBR". a completely legal thing to do and, a completely legal modification if the correct legal procedures are followed. the process for buying a suppressor is similar.
