A 40+ group of dancers burst into a hi-energy routine in the middle of Leeds to promote a new sports drink. Unfortunately a passer-by took exception to this & stabbed a male dancer, leading to career-ending injuries. At his trial the guy said the victim’s “provocatively gay movements” made him do it- thus leading to my brother’s prosecution.

Nice job, though because it was a dance, it should have been more choreographed, as aforementioned. If you've seen the 'Single Ladies' flash mob, it was choreographed perfectly and performed exactly as it should have, but really, people, this video was AWESOME! Improv Everywhere has people who know how to perform when and how, so stop your whining or make your own Flash Mob: Tango (actually, it's a quickstep, but whatever), and post it.  Then see how hard it is!

Nice! In Almaty we organize milongas (tango party) every week in some public place and it isn't a flashmob it's just milonga )

Dancing in a small group will only have real effect when done with a sense of timing and coreography :)

okay, in my opinion, it is sorta cool to do the tango out in public spontanously. Anything spontanous is awesome. But, if you watch the video carefully, you can tell that some of the scenes are the same. The couple near the guy with the camera, same shot at least three times, the lady in the red, four or five times showing the same move. and the lady in the pink sweater and black skirt looks like she is doing the two step. other than that there are good dancers in this video.

hi fliiciiaa - thanks for being interested in our wee effort to cheer up dreary concrete dublin... we were actually dancing to traditional tango music but the lovely balcony people couldn't record our music, so they cleverly added their fab soundtrack instead. we *love* real argentine tango and its music, but not the ballroom version, sorry. we are into cultural authenticity as much as possible :-) Thanks n Good Luck!
