This could have been a great single for The Guess Who.in 1970, a follow up to American Woman/No Sugar Tonight. The eternal question for Guess Who fans; what if Randy Bachman hadn't left the band? The Bachman/Cummings songwriting combo was lost forever. But then we wouldn't have had the post Randy bands and many of the great songs that they did. And there would have never been a BTO.
@Long1991bd Actually The Guess Who tried to make hits and are really nothing like Led Zeppelin. If anything Rush would be considering they actually came after Led Zeppelin and have/had equal talent behind the instruments. The Guess Who started in the early 60s when Led Zeppelin was the Yarbirds... Led Zeppelin started around 68.
@Long1991bd A question I've wrestled with for so many years its embarrassing. Clearly if Randy had stayed in the band, imagine the great songs that would have come from he and Burton in their prime. I'd pick this option.
Still, all that good BTO stuff (Brave Belt, too) as well as the Kurt Winter era were sure fun to experience.
This song was re-released on a later album (maybe Power in the Music) and was much improved in the syncopation (sp) and style of delivery.

And a big hand to Jim Kale. The bass on this is fantastic. Really cares the song.

Burt's voice was so great in those early days. Not trying to knock him, but it just wasn't the same after about 72-73....

@6000cs
Sadly, I have to agree. It was still good, just different. But not AS good, no doubt.
