@blimpyboy what do you think of that Cort? Sounds beautiful on this end. I love all mahogany guitars but can't afford a 15 series Martin. Great job btw.
@81ghale thanks. for the price I feel it's fantastic. only the top and the back are solid hog. If you got a couple more bills in your budget you might wanna take a look at the Guild M-120.
Hmm, I've been reading that this guitar isn't that versatile and has a sound mainly suited for blues but this recording makes me think people have undersold it in that respect as it certainly sounds good for this sort of thing too. Although there are plenty of other styles :p so I'm wondering if there is anything in particular that this guitar is not suited for?
@N4GW Don't have any real way to measure it right now, but if I were to approximate it, I'd say it's roughly 8-9cm across the center. The pickup's a perfect fit, and no modifications were required to get it in there. -Rock on!
@mummylips video was shot with a sony dsc-tx1. the sound is a combination of the sunrise pickup running straight into a korg px-5d and the camera's internal mic (adds just a bit of "air" to the whole thing). thanks for commenting.
HOw u like the guitar mate??? does it good work better for strumming or finger picking?? im thinking of getting a new acoustic guitar, and nw i maybe going to get this one.. not much video of this guitar for me to look at
@JackFuzz73 I think the 450 could be right up your alley. It's great for recording - kinda flat sounding. Not very resonant (an anti-Taylor of sorts). It gives a nice thump for Merle-Travis style playing. A good friend once remarked that it's an acoustic that sounds a bit like a classical guitar. It is not a loud guitar. Hope this helps a bit.
@caahacky Certainly! That is a Sunrise pickup. I saw a terrific fingerstyle player in Minneapolis a couple of years ago named Phil Heywood. He had them on both of his guitars and they sounded terrific. It took a while to find a used one...

I see you are using a sunrise pickup. What is the sound-hole size on this guitar? Did you have any problems getting the pickup in there?

Thanx Billy . . . that deff help.
I am looking for deep Classical-like warmth/vibe from my steel string acoustic.
Will ask my local store to try and get one - they are a Cort dealer, so i assume they can.
Tahnk you very much.

Sweet playing ma !
What is yout opinion about the unpluged tone of this Mahogany top'ed Cort ?
I am looking for an acoustic (no electrics) that is not shrill sounding, or too bright.
Thanx

@BlimpyBoy
Plz, is that guitar capable for jamming next to dreadnought guitar? I mean is it loud enough?

@ohnezuckerdotcom no, it is not.
