Dionne and I used to attend the same Performing Arts centre in South London.She was always a talented singer/actress and although I'd rather she avoided this bloodsucking show I know what it must have taken her to go on XFactor. Simon Cowell had it in for her because she was Leona's only viable competition. He was so dismissive of Dionne's talent and I think this coupled with her nervousness in performing caused the public not to take to her.

I do agree with Ruth outsinging Laura, Purple Rain was one of the best performances of that series, I meant more Laura being in the bottom two when the likes of Eoghan Quigg were still there was one of the worst decisions considering her talent :).

I completely disagree with you. for a start Rachel can sing circles around Dionne ( all though she's good) but Rachel is someone special. Rachel was likeable but the media made sure they printed stories to ensure people didn't like her, it was a sad day, you must have watched her audition how can you say she aint likeable???

I keep coming back to this video and truthfully, she just sounds even better than the last time. At 1.35 when she sings, "every need, every hour" she sounds exactly like Helen Baylor the US gospel singer. For the 3 weeks that she was on the x factor, she sang pitch perfect every time. Her voice is perfect. Of all the x factors, in my opinion, this is the best performance ever and she is the best vocalist ever to be on the x factor.

One week Simon (might have been from that week) said that if she was in America, 4get about a singing contest, she would be signed up immediately as she was world class. I don't understand why she didn't come back again last year or this year like Alexandra Burke did. All the girls were voting for Eton Rd, all the sob-story lovers voted for Nikita, Scots voted for McDonald Bros etc. She was weak on that part, but this was AMAZING and she had easily the strongest voice in the competition (except Leona).

I thought this woman was great and i lost interest after she left the show. I do believe that Simon had a point when he citicised her dancing but i believe that he exploited this weakness of hers far too much, perhaps because he did see her as a threat to his category, Leona in particular.
