Thanks for the question. The soil mix has to be more specific if you are not using a stabilizer like cement or lime so that binds well. Soil can vary so much from even from the same piece of land. An ideal "raw" soil to have is one with 20-30% clay, and the rest made up of sharp sand and gravel.
You used mixture of horse manure, clay, and sand for the plastering. I'd be worried about bacterial and parasitic infections from the fecal matter. How do you insure that doesn't happen?
@DrGaryGreen i don't have the oficial response but adobe has been in use for centuries if not for longer... and most mixtures use manure. I would say this is even better because there are bags that keep the material contained and if you talk about the filling-gaps material the idea is to cover the hole structure with a few lawyers of concrete and finishing the walls. So there should not be any contact with the construction material after the outerlawers are put in the walls.
@DrGaryGreen Pretty sure anything alive in manure from animals that eat grass isn't looking to target humans. Bacterias would be just stuff from the animals gut, at most there might be some life stage of some kind of parasite looking for grass or some other intermediate host to hangout on.
@mryellow123 No, there is all kinds of harmful bacteria in animal feces. Bit of googling will show you. Not insulting you, simply disagreeing. If you are ever in the position to take it, Public Health 101 can be fascinating stuff.... or not, but I'm a nerd and I had to take it anyway.

Handling manure is very dangerous like Dr. Gary Green said.
I love the "Green" effort but mixing it with your hand or feet is not recommended.
I am a healthcare provider myself and there is a lot of bacteria in manure not to mention parasites.
