I wonder what Wally Karbo would think of all the wrestlers in other wrestlers' corners who aren't licensed managers in WWE today. He'd probably have a heart attack. What do you think he would think of Vickie G. and Edge?
Slaughter started out in the AWA in the 70's under his real name, Bob Remus. He later became the Super Destroyer mark II. In the early 80's he went to WWF where he became the Sarge.
This was February-March 1981. The Crusher-Bockwinkel cage match was just before this, and I remember it because it was the one wrestling card I've ever attended.
This was also during the SDII-SDIII feud; I was treated to III unmasking himself after II had turned his mask sideways and dominated him for several minutes. When III ripped his own mask off and went crazy on II, the crowd went berzerk. It was a great moment for the ticket holders.
It's easy to narrow it down, Verne Gagne and Mad Dog Vachon are mentioned as being the tag team champs, they held that title between June 6, 1979 and July 20, 1980 so this recording must of been made sometime in between those dates.

"So stick that Caribou" Awesome! Wrestling would have triple the audience and be a goldmine if they went back to stuff like this.
