Prayer is POOR sportsmanship. If a player prays, he or she is asking god to somehow enhance a players ability OR reduce the opposing player's performance. Basically this is like asking god to CHEAT in your favour. If you win, you should feel that you accomplished the win outside of god's help, and that your opponent did THEIR BEST to defeat you. This makes the win sweeter.
