@waqarkhan25 All I know is that Eric Fried (Dion) and Jeremy Lynch (Chan) did not go on to do any more acting but Diana Eskell (Alex) has a few other TV appearances and Jade Magri (Zoe) has been in quite a lot. Of course Naomie Harris (in one of her very first acting roles as Shuku) went on to have a successful career, appearing in many films including 'Pirates of the Caribbean'. She's currently (2012) on set acting her part in the new James Bond film 'Skyfall'.
@waqarkhan25 There were two series of Runaway Bay, both set in Martinique in 1992 and 1993. I think it just came to a natural end and a third series was never made.
