The climate has always changed before man was here and it will continue long after. The earth's climate is constantly changing. It has been doing so for 4.65 billion years. It did so before us and it will do so with or without us. That's the hard truth without any "pretending". Go look at the VOSTOCK ice core yourself and see the large scale climate patterns. I'm all for solar and wind power, but if you really believe the B.S. in this video", then I truly feel sorry for you.
the legislation stems from the assumption but it doesn't really address climate science so, unless you think this video is lying about how bills are written or how the language will affect energy policy, the last part of your comment doesn't really make much sense. If you like solar and wind power why not provide an incentive for energy producers to do more of it?

Climate change is real. Pretending it is not, or pretending that it is too expensive is perpetuating the conservative political fraud on the World population. Why should we sit by while big oil, big coal, et-al count their money and China leads the way toward sustainable energy production? Should we REALLY allow all the new solar panels, wind generators to be made elsewhere?

But since that is not the case, the cause is not being fixed, these global austerity programs are nothing but a sham.
Every year, emitters of CO2 have to bid for permits. 75% of the proceeds of the auction go back to every American, about $1100 per family of 4, annually. The other 25% are invested in R&D for alternative energy. Soon, the less you spend on carbon-intensive products, the better off you'll be.
No freebies to oil or coal companies or Goldman Sachs; poor families get more of the dividend, and the free market is unleashed to solve this problem.

Climate change, as it is called, happens naturally, no matter if humans are on the planet or not. CO2 is the bases of all life on this planet. It is not pollution, and does not cause climate change.
