i was fucking frustrated in this crowed. no one, except a small minority was getting into it. personally i fucking loved it. although they should have played more of the hits.

The crowd was the problem/disappointment?? Haha utter nonsense. The crowd pay a lot of money to get what they want (paying his wages nonetheless) and Albarn being the 'genius' that he is knew fine well that the set played by the Gorillaz wouldn't sit well with the majority, regardless of who joined them on stage. Totally self-indulgent and a big disappointment.

agreed, dchurchhouse. the crowd were buzzing but the music just didn't suit the mood, and far too much slow stuff was played. things like the 19-200 remix or sweepstakes would have gone down really well.

Not sure the person below has ever been to Glastonbury, but the crowd is the most appreciative you will ever find!!! People weren't questioning Gorillaz music/talent, they are just not a 10pm on a Friday at Glastonbury band.
