I have a question Mrs, Eva, I follow this viedo and my hat came out wrong, it fis my tow year old daughter like a slouchy beaine, what did I do wrong?
@cheycheybearx Do you mean the first round of DC's? After you complete the 16 DC, where the circle is not connected, you can count the first 3 chains that you stiched (before you started DC'ing in the 4th stitch). Then Slip Stitch in the 3rd chain to connect.
Please PM me, if you need more help. Glad to assist you. Hugs Eva
@Heatwein Wow! That's fantastic. Thanks for watching and commenting. Would love to see a pic of your finished hat and the hats of your class. Thinking of putting together a viewer showcase. Hugs Eva
did great job on did first hat I've successfully completed, only complaint is I didn't know what type it was when I started, my fault could have fast forwarded
@whynotrylan I'm so glad you finished your first Hat! Congratulations! Would love to see a pic of it. The hat is shown at 0:10 seconds - Tan one on the statue and a burgundy one next to it on the table - right at the beginning of the video. Hugs Eva
I love your video and it is very clear. I am having trouble making a beanie hat though =(. I was wondering if you can make the same video as this one but show how to end each round of the circle. I am a beginner and just started. I hope you had a wonderful holiday! Thank you for taking the time to read this.
@godshands89 To end each row, I used a slip stitch - it is shown at 1:37 in this video and is very easy. I will be making another tutorial on a slouchy beanie later in January and will highlight the "slip stitch" more. Thanks so much for watching and commenting! Hugs Eva
@kaycymone04 Thanks so much for watching and commenting. So glad you found it helpful. I'm still working on hats and hope to do a slouchy beanie in January. Hugs and Happy Holidays. Eva
@BeverlynJ1 Please PM here and I'm happy to explain anything. It's really easy, but - yes, I had trouble with the hat too when I started (still do) something about it being round I think. Again, feel free to message me - would love to help. Hugs Eva
@TeaWithDanielle Awwww, thanks Danielle. When I first started, I got alot of my hooks and yarn from charity shops, thrift stores, yard sales, etc. I still buy much of my yarn from ebay (now that I know what types/brands), but they are inexpensive as well. Walmart is good too! I want pics or video responses of your work! Hugs Eva
Wow.. I love to crochet and have a hard time following written patterns. This was extremely easy to follow, I might try this out now. Thanks for doing this; it was extremely helpful!

I love this pattern, but you don't explain it enough for me. I am a beginner and am having a hard time understanding some of the stitches.
Thanks
