Genes are random. I believe we can control this behavior, and use it to develop and promote more healthier humans. Nature happends to destroy the weak, but what if no human was born physically and chemicaly weak and disorder relative to their environment? It provides a solution for medicine, which is to destroy problems before they establish.

This is the product of the experiment, and the anomoly that must now be explained. What part of normal reproduction causes reduced life-expectancy in the progeny? What is the factor in sperm that makes even the daughters die earlier?

2. Preventing GM humans from mating with non-GM humans is sick and all those problems can be avoided, like Einstein said: a smart person solves the problem, a wise person avoids it. It's not disgusting in some ways. What if you could prevent diseases like Huntington's Disease or Tay Sachs disease which are death sentances for people. I agree that designer babies are wrong but it will inevitably happen because the world is liberal minded, and autonomy has precedance in society. It is almost impossible to argue against the decisions of autonomous people. Currently profit and personal decisions rule the world so if the designer baby is to be prevented the world has to change.

I think id want my child to see or hear or have arms rather than not. Details like eyecolor are rubbish, as long as it would be physically healthy. Negative influences are already visible tho, China has a huge surplus of bachelors cuz boys are more more desireable offspring than girls.

Nature happends to destroy the weak, but what if no human was born physically and chemicaly weak and disorder relative to their environment? We don't own our children. We guide them. This obviously tells me that you're just one of those greedy assholes that just have children to feel better about themselves. Most people send there kids to better schools, doctors, sports programs to achieve the same result but genetics can achieve even more.
