Why are you making such childish comments? I don't believe you have any idea how much hard work is done by so many intelligent and highly-trained people for each of these flights. When you are smart enough to get yourselves a PhD in Atmospheric Chemistry, you might be in a better position to make relevant criticisms.
I was a photographer with the newpaper there and photographed a lot of these launches. When they work, they are really awesome. When they fail they are really beautiful. I never had to do the clean up though.
And yep, sometimes there will be a tiny tear that go unnoticed and once it starts to feel the weight of the payload (the big gizmo you saw at the beginning on the launch vehicle) it can start to rip and just won't stop.
I bet that cost us a lot of money...
