  • I bet that cost us a lot of money...

  • I would like buy this video, do you know how is it possible?

    it's very important for me!

    thank you very very much

  • @stocadendo have you considered downloading it for free?

  • Truly a most beautiful fail indeed.

  • stop by the dry cleaners and get some more plastic.

  • this started global warming

  • Made in china.

  • ALIENS!

  • Should have used a Hefty. Got the Wimpy model instead.

  • faill but looks amazing ;d

  • uhhhh no?

  • Is that what all the typical males think about?? Aything to do with your knob?

  • Pretty much.

  • yes

  • nice !

  • nice failure.... but it would be more relevant if we actually knew how a successful launch looks like

  • did the UFO die?

  • are you serious?

  • r u?

  • only if you think that this is a real "sign from God"

  • I don't.

When God talks to me he never uses clouds.

  • He uses a megaphone.

  • He used to, now he texts.

  • lol

  • giant plastic jellyfish flying through the air...wtf the sky IS FALLING!!!1!!!

  • Why are you making such childish comments? I don't believe you have any idea how much hard work is done by so many intelligent and highly-trained people for each of these flights. When you are smart enough to get yourselves a PhD in Atmospheric Chemistry, you might be in a better position to make relevant criticisms.

  • the funny thought of someone trying to stuff that into a trash can pops into my mind.. I chuckle.

  • plastic-rain =)

  • OMG! It's an UFO!

  • Thats a lot of plastic

  • it fails so elegantly...

  • what a stratospheric failure

  • it looked like a giant flying jellyfish at the begining

  • What is the balloon supposed to do?

  • Go up. Contact Aliens. Self destruct.

  • XD you get the funniest joke award

  • rofl +1

  • dumb americans

  • i actually thought it looked really artsy, like an experimental film you'd see in a museum.

watch this while listening to 'how to disappear completely' by radiohead and you'll get what i mean.

love the analog camera look too

  • lesson learned: even when you fail, gotta fail with style...

  • Yay! Tax dollars at work! :)

  • Looks really pretty. Somewhat like a jellyfish.

  • who has a big enough penis to fit in that =O

  • Me =]

  • Win!

  • hah! so you are a penis with a little man

  • Look at how nicely it comes down! So elegant of a fail!

  • "Oh the HUMANITY!"

  • its gods condom!

  • ur going to hell for that

  • EPIC FAIL (at the balloon launch).

  • FAIL

  • it's like what the american beauty plastic bag scene should have been.

  • lmao

  • i was thinking that too, it's like the worlds biggest jonny falling to the earth.

  • this is a beautiful fail to see!

  • looks like a massive bit of clingfilm or something

    :]

  • it's not a weather balloon its a UFO

  • Can you imagine getting trapped under that thing? Some guy would have to tell your family you died during a freak stratospheric balloon accident.

  • OH THE HUMANITY!

  • LMAO

  • LOL!!!!!!!

  • HA HA HA ROFLMAO

    Good one

  • owned :P

  • waste of time

  • it looked really cool but.......ahhhh the sound of taxpayers money rushing down the drain

  • i would totally get under that wqhen it was falling

  • haha that's what i was thinking

  • ditto

  • lmao wtf?

  • I was a photographer with the newpaper there and photographed a lot of these launches. When they work, they are really awesome. When they fail they are really beautiful. I never had to do the clean up though.

And yep, sometimes there will be a tiny tear that go unnoticed and once it starts to feel the weight of the payload (the big gizmo you saw at the beginning on the launch vehicle) it can start to rip and just won't stop.

  • wow pretty :)

  • Beautiful...

  • Rofl

  • Yep!

  • so there was just a giant tear that ripped the balloon in half?
