  • Zamina zamina ou eh eh , waka wakaa anroaaahhh , django-o , django-o-o zamina zamina zangalewa anaroah ,

  • Enormeeeee <3

  • This is the real one we listen in Barranquilla ,Colombia for first time back in the 80's when we were teenagers and Shakira also did. Thats why she knew about this song and selected to the FIFA to make it official song for the World Cup 2010.In Barranquilla we love any kind of music and african music is not the exception to the rule! Long Life AFRICA! And Thanks Shakira to make it popular.

  • anyone can post the playback for this song

  • everyone stop saying one is better or something, Shakira and her team wrote this song in hommage to this song the original because it was also popular in her home country for a while. sheeeeesh.

  • @strengthofwill

    Youre right..

  • @strengthofwill

youre right. these people dont understand what respect is!

  • @NextelGhost stating the obvious.

  • not bad..coz shakira is better.

  • I like Shakira's version much better but this one should have been the World Cup theme because this band is from Africa and it has a more traditional African sound.

  • This song is amazing! where can i download it?

  • @athenablueblack in your local musicstore :)

  • I love Shakira, but this one's got more of that African spirit to it; The harmonizing, the rhythm and the music in general, I love it!

I almost wish this would've been played at the World Cup instead of hers (no hating on hers, because it's great too), but they should've had more African artists opening at FIFA! It would've been nice to see some homage paid to a few more African artists!

  • thats better although...shakira

  • I feel like I'm digging in the crates with this one LOL ... I like this alot, but I also can't hate on Shakira's version. I like Shakira's aggressive tone on the chorus, the "This Time for Africa" let's you know who's running the show...

  • I like this one the most because the orginal truly captures the feeling of the players and captivated an entire nation. Shakira couldn't do that

  • I like Shakira's better. This one's not bad though.

  • I like Shakira's version better, but this does sound cool. And I like the "this time for Africa" in Shakira's version.

  • merda waka waka !! the best 's Zangalewa

  • This is so much better! Not just a cheap pop-version to have hit!

  • ....così noiosa xD

  • Shakira's was good but this sounds obviously original. I like them both

  • I know this song since 1993, made me starting to love african music (among others)

  • There is another Waka Waka which was recorded in 1982, look up "El Negro No Puede" by "Las Chicas del Can", a Dominican Merengue group.

  • è una copiona di merd*

  • @TheFashionTonia non e' una copiona..e' una cover la sua...non ha mai detto di averla scritta lei...

  • schios

  • Fuck of shakira, here is the soul and the spirit!!!

  • Like Shakira's version better, this one sounds like it was recorded in the backyard of my house.

  • @carlosrangel1 yeh but it shows the real spirit of africa... thats what counts.

  • @carlosrangel1 LMFAO :D you just made my day

  • bei shakira is es cooler. der eine hört sich leicht verschnupft an XD

  • And it's a lot better than Shakira's Waka Waka.

  • @IgNaZzZiO1990 Yes, it's a lot better :D

  • @IgNaZzZiO1990 !!!!!!!!!!
