all it is is a capo 8th then the chords relative to the capo are E, A, B. then in the breakdown he uses a G#. the basic strumming pattern for each chord in the verses is D,U,X,U,D,U,X,U,D,U,X,U, where "x" would represent just muting the strings with your fingers instead of pushing down all the way

its the strings that make it sound different, that thing is just a pickup so it can be amplified. if thats what your on about.

his guitar sounds weird in all his vids eben when he doesnt have that pickup there.
