1. Kyle Field isn't a memorial. People are just supposed to stay off the field.
2. The saber is ceremonial and has no edge. It's the equivalent of a pointy stick.
3. Every frat, sorority, student group, political party, branch of the military, union, etc... has overzealous idiots. In fact, some of you morons probably fit this description. The dumb ass in this video who pulled his saber was kicked out of the Corps.
You know the Corps sends more people to the military than any other college besides the service academies. And to think, you thank them for your freedom by trashing them. Pitiful.
People walk all over that pathetic excuse for a field all the time. It only becomes a "sacred memorial" when it suits them.
If it was that important to them you would think they would take offense to the tons of guano that are left all over the place every year.
Shoddiest stadium in the Big XII AND SEC
.
It is going to be SO MUCH FUN to see aggy get a mudhole stomped in their butts EVERY week for the forseeable future. They may have to schedule Arky State to get A win, oh wait.....
Is this why they lost their football team for 20 years? haha Kyle Field is sacred ground, a living memorial, and only those who are supposed to be on it are allowed to be on it.
The corps guy was pushed down, then drew his saber, then was pushed down again. Not excusing it, and the guy was dealt with harshly by the University, but the video leaves off the first part.
@RacerX93 He got pushed down twice by cheerleaders, dude. There's no excusing that. If those cheerleader fellas had pushed me or any other normal man, we would not have even moved probably. But, it's nice for you to try and protect the little fella.
I am just glad I don't have to see you folks every Thanksgiving any more. Thanks for leaving
@RacerX93 If he was pushed down, then he got up and pushed the other guy down, because the video starts with him kicking a guy who is on his knees and then drawing a sword on him. I hope that guy didn't go into the army when he graduated, because he's an embarrassment to those who respect the uniform.
This video is not completely representative of the entire event. I was there seven rows back o the ten yard line...SMU was completely disrespectful and created the entire event to humiliate this Cadet(not excusing him either) Seems like they got the death penalty a couple of years later...Karma is a ***** they say :)
@SelfAccountable So if Texas is "loser" what does that make aggy?
Considering of course that Texas has a better winning percentage on Kyle Field than aggy does. Are you one of the Hitler Youth that masturabates into a jar every year to symbolize how much you hate Texas?
@gopback and @tedujam Uhh, not a memorial? Each one of those flags flying around the stadium stand for an Aggie who died in World War I. I imagine you'd have no problem wearing your hat in the MSC?
@koine2004@koine2004 Yeah seriously, no one does give a shit if you think the entire football field is a memorial. Your field isn't holy....you aggies are so weird. HOOK 'EM !

Tedujam, first of it is Kyle Field. Second it is considered a memorial site, thats why the Corp does not have to wear their biders during the game. Thanks and Gig 'em

@lisaannjohnson4 so being "disrespectful" at a football game calls for having a sword drawn on you? Are you fucking kidding me? You're an idiot.

Two things that say everything about the idiocy of Aggies.
1. The first is obvious.
2. A dude with a sword drawn is on the field scuffling with cheerleaders, and the aggie security rushes out to rough up... a cheerleader?
