I have the Z5500 and connecting directly to an ipod/iphone isnt the best way to get bass out of it. Use coax or optical with a computer that supports it, in DTS mode. Thats bass. And its actually 5.1, not stereo X2

wat are u doing man u have a 5.1 speakers and ur using them on stereo x2 witch is only a 2.1 LOL put it on music for the best quality for your music and it uses all speakers :) if u want a 2.1 get the z 2300 or the z 623 :)

I have the z-5500 set too, beautifully powerful :D. A word of warning: don't leave your ipod or other electronics on the sub, it can ruin it - the sub isn't very well magnetically shielded.
