That's probably the concert that i most regret losing. I was there for just a couple songs then I left :( Makkun singing her songs is incredible. Not the jam project thing. Not criticising it, but she is just an incredible artist, with amazing songs. She kicked ass with this song, she kicks ass singing this alone also. Misato was cute. I hope she comes back for a solo concert :(

Oh please, you guys are out of your minds. Masami Okui sings circles around Megumi Hayashibara. Megumi is a fine voice actor but a rather mediocre-to-poor singer.
This is actually pretty good, you guys are just biased, Hayashibara-dono does do it better but, don't discount it just because she's not singing, the studio version of the song has more her feel anyway, the live version doesn't seem like it would suit her none.=]
I don`t know, of course she wasn`t in Brazil at the time. Before you say such a thing you may had thought that there are countries without this kind of show. It may be horrible for you, but for a show with anime songs in Brazil it was a good show. Yes, Brazil is a poor country, it was fortunate that they could call such singers, even without Megumi Hayashibara.
I'm not sure if you ever heard of Masami Okui before, but she's probably just as famous as Megumi Hayashibara as an anisong singer.
I love Megumi, I think she's perfect for Lina and the Slayers OP/EDs, but truth be told, she's not that great singing live, while both Misato Aki and Makkun are pretty decent singers all around.

And it's hard for someone to sound as good as they do on their CDs or DVDs, it's difficult to sing as well when your voice is getting tired. I admire her for sounding as good as she does even WITHOUT lipsinking. ^___^ (I'm not trying to argue with anyone please.)
Hey, not arguing either, just stating my opinion. I'm myself a huge Megumi fan as well, just well, don't really mind if Makkun sings this song since she was also involved in Slayers and is one of the few women (like Megumi!) who are actually pretty devoted to anisons.
@liyosan - Sorry for replying to such an old comment, but I've yet to see Hayashibara actually perform any of her Slayers songs live. So that might be a problem.
I've not a big fan of Aki Misato, but she's a ok singer.

as much as I like them both this just does not sound the sound the same without hayashibara, Aki Misato is to close to Masami Okui in voice range.
